@VespiYT;
Keep in mind that if you have a windows based PC, you hold the SHIFT key and press “Update” on iTunes. The options key mentioned above is for MacOS.
I tried this and now It says it needs to restore and it fails all the time through itunes uknown error 4010

EDIT: Fixed it through DFU

Did you get it to “upgrade” back to 14.5? Generally it is not ideal but should work. Also, you can do the “SHIFT” key with restore in iTunes to point to an IPSW. The version you want to install must be signed though.

Nah it installed 14.5.1 ofc when I DFUd and then I just went with my icloud backup, Its in the middle of the night here so I didnt try ”upgrading” it to 14.5 again after that, might try it again tomorrow

Thats really low for a 12 Pro!

My scores are:
Single core: 6679
Multi core: 17357 Geekbench .png
Same here. Interesting it's the 12 Pro NOT the max. These are my scores.

I have done some testing on my 12 PM with 14.5.1
When I reboot the phone and unlock it immediately, the Multi-Core Score is around 2300.
When I wait 5-10 minutes after rebooting before unlocking, the score will be above 4100.
For me, this does not make any sense and I hope it will be fixed ASAP.
Right this is what I’ve been saying and experiencing also on my 7. If you put in your passcode immediately after the phone boots up from a cold boot you get the lag and slowdown. If you lock and unlock your phone it should speed right back up to normal. I’ve found after a cold boot if I just wait about a min or 2 until my cellular connects and then enter the passcode for the the first time I get no slowdown at all.

@VespiYT
Up to you but I am not completely sure what the error means that you received. Some mention disabling any software firewall and antivirus if present. I have personally rolled back in the past but can’t advise what version it was using the same method.

Yup no problem. Might want to watch a YouTube video before so you feel comfortable with the process
Ahhh it worked no problem. Thanks guys. Back on 14.5 no lag or weirdness from a cold boot!! I’ll stay here till it’s fixed!

Wasn't the .1 update for an urgent security fix?

Yes, however the likelyhood of you encountering somebody using the exploit in a nefarious manner is basically zero, while it’s very likely your device will be throttled upon updating. This is gonna be pad PR for Apple, especially after batterygate. They should’ve waited to push the update.

I have tested my iPhone 11 Pro @Ios 14.5.1 with 3D Mark Wildlife. It is in half of the performance of typical iPhone 11 Pro. Will Monday be the update day?
I hope Apple is aware of the issue and follows user claims and posts on forums.
