I've been running betas in the last 2 OS's. When Apple says a particular month, they usually honor that.

I’ve been doing betas with Apple for about a decade, and believe me, they have missed before. I also work with developers in my job, and we’ve had targeted releases we’ve had to delay due to bugs. Things don’t always go to plan.

Do you really want them to release the same build that has had some massive issues for some users, just to honour a date declared before testing expanded to developers?

Well in fairness, its better that these issues are discovered with beta testers than with the general public.

If it didn’t come out on Wednesday, then definitely wasn’t coming in July.

you could tell with Dev Beta 3, that it wasn’t ready for Public Beta. So it’s not going to be until, at least, Dev Beta 4 next week.
