On Big Sur now and loving it so far. Any idea as to what this "Relocated Items" folder is on the desktop? Is it something that you can get rid of or should get rid of?

Find it and toss it. Redownload the installer. and run it.After you restart, you will see the macOS Big Sur installer launch automatically. If it doesn't, find it in the Applications folder using Finder and click on it.

How's the public beta so far? Any serious bugs?
(contemplating to install lol)
I experienced it about 12 times. I'd hit ok, it would recheck for updates, show the Big Sur update, I'd click Upgrade Now, and the download would resume from where it left off.Is anybody else experiencing this:

Just an FYI: Animations are a bit choppy MBP16 and MBP15 when running on integrated GPU.
When plugging external monitor - I suppose discrete GPU is forced and everything is smooth.
I am sure it will iron and smooth out by the time of the release.
All you have to do is go to System Preferences>Dock & Menubar and on the Sidebar under Other Modules click on Battery and check "Show Percentage" and it will show. Hope this helps!!How do we get the battery percentage back on the menu bar?
So far, everything seems perfect, so far: Turbo boost switcher, photoshop 2020, office 2016, whastapp, microsoft edge, transmission, all work well. All your non Apple apps working?
I am now running Public Beta 1 successfully. What did the trick was following the suggestion from elsewhere to put this into the boot flags:Beta 4 Parallels VM boots to a black screen and stalls.
