They seem to be having some issues with their system. Told me to check again in 1-2hrs if I want to make any changes to the Order.

5:03 am - received the Let's complete payment from Apple
5:30 am - received the Paybright Payment Plan details/summary indicating it was completed and at this point the shipping date for phones had already been pushed to mid-October. Paybright was just in limbo up until this point trying to finalize after I completed all the steps..
6:30-8 am - somewhere between here is where my payment was recognized by Apple and confirmed my delivery date of Sep 16 so I did retain my spot.

Ordered 2 (1 by error on my work Apple ID) and 1 on my personnal Apple ID. The one I would have cancelled (ordered with the work Apple ID) is the only one showing up in the "Orders" when I log in on Apple.ca. So I called and they cancelled the one from my personnal ID (since it wasn't showing up in my orders and they couldn't garanti that it would go through). It's not the best, but I have this coming :

NOTE: I only received 1 or 2 iphone on the Launch Day and most of them on the next monday. It's been like that since years now. UPS is not fast enough :O

Very fast!! :p It wasn'ta big upgrade from my 13 Pro Max, but I sold it yesterday at 1100$CAD, so this new one only really cost me 853$ since I did apply the 1100$ received from my sale.

I ordered (128gb Pro purple) at 8am as well to pick up on Sept 18 instead to avoid the crowds on the 16th. I am sure they are all sold out by now. With the lock down in China, supply will be very limited so it will be interesting to see how much these will go in the secondary market.

I wish I had an Apple Store near me, but it’s an hour drive. I kept closing and restarting the app so the minute it loaded I knew it, and I had the phone setup saved in my profile so I didn’t even had to tap the options and it still got pushed to the Monday. It’s crazy.

My husband still has an 11 Pro so he’s going to inherit my 13 Pro…might keep his as a spare or sell it, haven’t decided.
 
Is anyone else unable to edit an order, even though the status is "Order Placed"?

Looks like they have removed the link to PayBright from the order details page so you can't even try to finish the payment now.
 
My PayBright link actually ended up loading. Put my phone number in, they send me a code. I entered the code, then it said there was a problem and it cancelled my entire Apple order.
This is exactly what happened to me too.

Haven’t been able to get in touch with Apple yet either. Chat/Phone says they’re too busy.

The reservation link is not showing any available for both Pro/Pro Max in any colour in the GTA. Looks like either the system is messed up or they are OOS.
 
I still have my PayBright order showing a link but whenever I click on it I now get the following message on apple.com

There was a problem with your request. Please try again.
 
Just managed to snag a 256GB Pro Max and a 128GB Pro both in purple - reserved for pickup at the Apple store in WPG. Was checking all morning and availability was zero. Then a random few colours and sizes showed as available. Looks like maybe some people cancelling orders or maybe a little more stock coming in?

Maybe pays to keep checking today if you are wanting to reserve for in store pickup.

Yeah we'll see what Apple comes back with, if they do anything.

Luckily I got two backup plans so I'm not worrying LoL:
#1 - Placed an in-store reservation successfully for next Friday.
#2 - Will try to order again with PayBright next Friday. Last year on launch day at 7:45am, all stores were showing available stock online again.
Do you know if any issues doing paybright in person on launch day?
I only got the reservation confirmation. I'm assuming they can take trade-ins in person too?

Zero issues last year with PayBright on launch day. Completed online quickly.

Yes, the store takes trade-ins as well. Though, they might still initiate a trade-in kit.. not sure.

There most certainly were issues last year. My spouse got stuck in limbo, had her ordered cancelled, then got an email from apple later that day saying to complete payment.

As far as I know, there were issues on pre-order day, not on launch day, as I mentioned above.

Was able to get mine for pickup on Friday 16th. Purple 128gb
I did it right at 6am mst
Pickup in market mall Calgary

It was quite simple unlike other years this time
