Is anyones case lose on the little strip in front of the power button?
I can press my in and it comes back up, unlike the tight fit of the rest of the case.
I contacted caudabe, but they want pictures with the case on the phone which would be very hard to show considering its clear.

yea i have noticed this too and ive seen others claim to see it. it also looks like the top right corner near the power button isnt flush against the screen of the phone like the opposite corner is. its almost as if the case isnt deep enough for the width of the phone. but its barely noticeable and i cant get it to show up on a picture. the phone protrudes fractions of a millimeter above the case whereas the other side is perfectly flush. but it doesnt bother me and im sure all of them are like this since their mold is defective. but i expected this type of margin of error with a case this thin. as i stated earlier, thin cases like this must be way harder to make than thicker ones.

Yes mine was like that too. I sent them a pic and they shipped me a replacement within a week.

For anyone looking for a minimalistic case look no further. After trying about 10+ different cases I've finally found the case I will be using.

I completly agree. I have always wanted to use my iPhone naked, as I am very careful with my phones.

This case is the closest you can get. Paired with the iloome .12mm Flex Glass SP, it is the perfect combination.

Hey just wanted to update for anyone that feels like their case has this problem.

From Caudabe customer service:
"Actually, some of the cases in a recent batch were indeed defective, so if you can provide us with a few photos of the issue we can take a look and determine whether or not yours was part of that batch. It's definitely in your interest to send across photos. If yours has a real problem, we definitely don't want you to live with it and we're happy to send you a replacement!"

Sent them a photo of my case and my order and within 5 minutes they ordered me a free replacement (they are out of stock right and backordered 1-2 weeks).

I could not find one on ebay, or Caudabe's official site. It's sold out everywhere

Yesterday I ended up searching Amazon one more time, and got it for $6.71 shipped.... from China with a delivery date between Dec 6th and Dec 24th

The good news is I got a notice last night that it was shipped, so it could be here in a week or a month who knows!

You realize that's almost definitely a knockoff right? You know what they say, "when it's too good to be true ..."

My setup is Caudabe The Veil (Wisp Black) case and BestSkinsEver on the bottom.

I got mine yesterday. I liked the case but there is a small gap on top left side which is noticable. within 2-3 hours of using dust particles are getting inside it. all other sides are perfect fit..anyone had this problem?

That is a bit dissapointing, especially since I bought it from Amazon. If it were ebay I could understand, but this was marketed as a Caudabe product through Amazon!

No, if you look carefully, the seller of the item is "qianlong trading" and not Caudabe. Sounds like they're merely using the Caudabe listing. This is a frequent problem on Amazon and I've been bitten in the past too with other brands. You just need to be careful of the seller you're buying from. When Caudabe has the Veil in stock, it's clearly listed as "Fulfilled by Caudabe" and usually available with Prime shipping.

Thanks for the heads up!

This stinks, I thought it would just be another seller that carried the same item. I guess I am out of $6 as a knockoff case would probably be a piece of crap.

I will keep checking though, as Caudabe might have it in stock soon.

It will be another week or so. Caudabe said the demand for the Veil case is insane, simply they're selling them faster than they can make them. I asked if they're making changes to the case, they said "NO". I think this forum thread made a lot of people aware of the case and significantly increased the demand.

thank you for pointing out. I contacted them and they said they will send a replacement once they have the stock. Approx 1+ week of waiting..
I have to provide some photos though..

i have a similar issue and sent them a total of about 10 pics this morning. after reviewing them, they agreed to send me a replacement as well. my issue is the case doesnt fully seat over the edge of the phone on one side the way it does on the other. they have very very quick customer service and i was very pleased by it.

Did you buy it from Amazon or from Caudabe's website? I bought mine from Amazon but they wouldn't send a replacement, the suggested to return it to Amazon and then buy it from Caudabe's website. It must be Amazon's policy for the vendors.

i bought from amazon. they stated that since their in stock date is going to be after my 30 day return window, they will send it to me outright. i ordered mine october 21st. they did say they wouldve had be normally return it through amazon, but because of this, they will send it direct.

I guess it's better to complain after 30 days so that Caudabe can send the replacement directly to you. Do they want the old one back?

i offered, since they were on the fence about it, to show i wasnt trying to scam for another one. however they said no, i can keep it as a backup, which was very nice of them.

i mean, i guess you need to work the cost of replacements into the overall production. cant make lets say 100 cases and expect all 100 to sell worry/trouble free. im sure these case manufacturers account that a portion of their production run will be for warranty replacements. i doubt they are losing any money on these replacements.
