Hmmm, I’m gonna say all things iOS event in September (I like the sound of an iOS 12/A12X combo) and a Mac event in October.

Looked through some older events they've had this time of year. Sometimes there'd be two, sometimes one Sometimes the september event was just for iPhone, sometimes it was several products at once.

iPhone and Watch sounds like enough, but I wouldn't imagine the Watch taking much time, nor the iPad.

Hosting an October event just for iPad doesn't sound like enough. I don't remember the latest rumor on that macBook Air. If they do have that in store, then they're definitely not showing iPad in September.

seems not likely since yesterday someone "leaked" the photos of the new iphone and the new apple watch, but no leaks of the new ipad pro

Which to me, is more evidence likely Of not necessarily seeing an iPad in September, but in late 2018. Is it possible we could see the Debut of the newest iPad in two weeks? Yes. But I’m not confident that that will happen for September, which I’m still thinking early 2019 at the latest, best case scenario October/November 2018.

I’m leaning your way now. They may unveil the new laptop instead. Between that and the 329 iPad back to school is covered. Save the pros for the holiday season and another buying cycle. No big deal. I’ll just have to wait till March to get one but I guess it’s more time for reviews and accessories etc.

They were marketing images it could be that Apple didn’t stream those, they also didn’t find the Air Power images either which will be given a release date at the September event according to Mark Gurman. Not everything “leaked” the other day.

Yea i think as soon as the leak happened Apple shut it down, that's why Rambo from 9to5 Mac couldn't get anything about the iPad Pro's or even the AirPower mat.

9to5Mac even said they were trying to get access to air power but nothing came of it

Yea i remember reading it, their article on the new iPhone's and Apple Watch Series 4 were fast out the gate. I just don't see the September event having only the Apple Watch and iPhone's, Airpower at least and maybe the AirPods charging case update for compatibility with AirPower mat. I can still see them introducing the iPad Pro's as well, with it being an IOS cantered event it makes sense, i guess we will know for sure in under 2 weeks.
[doublepost=1535812386][/doublepost]According to Mark Gurman and the Bloomberg report from last year "Apple is also preparing a new version of its Apple Pencil stylus and new software tools for using the stylus, the person said."

Also and interestingly the iPad Pro update will launch "a little more than a year after the last major iPad Pro upgrade, the people said."

This could mean September but also it could mean October as both are a little more than a year after the 2017 upgrade.

yeah I hope they do but I have doubts. between iOS12 and the budget bezeless iPhone I feel like Apple has a lot to get through already. And then there's the series 4 Apple Watch which will probably be the first major form factor revision so that will get some time as well. Not to mention when are we seeing the 20th anniversary update to the iMac? I'm betting MacBook and MacBook Air updates are later in the fall (based on today's intel chipset announcements). I hope they squeeze the iPad in as I'll be getting one as soon as its available.
Hopefully a full Mac event with three updates (iMac, MacBook Air update and Mac Mini), therefore leaving iPads for the September event.

Even though (for now) iPad and Mac are different OS’ IMO Apple will be doing iPad Events with Mac Events in the future. Apple wants to push the impression that iPad is a Laptop. :apple:

I am so sick & tired of looking at these different mages that keep coming coming out, so this image that came out yesterday of the iPad Pro is it again just an artist imagination or is it anywhere close to what we are gonna get ??

Artist impression based on the CAD that ‘leaked’ earlier this year and that the ‘leaked’ case is supposedly based on.

When you look at the leak of the black case from a few weeks ago, i'm having a hard time telling if they actually reshaped the ipad to be more squarish

And the CAD leak was based on McNamara’s leak btw. this is getting absurd. I should just stay off MR till the 12th but I like shooting the **** with you guys too much. Strange hobby we have.
I say the same thing to myself everyday, But where am i after work? HERE lol
