So basically the iPhone is expensive but this at almost the same price is not. It's your value system, hope you like your new phone.
Its not "almost" the same price. If you count expandable storage its almost $400 cheaper. The S8 costs as much as a 7S will
I just bought a 128 gig 6s+
Great. However the point is the 128GB iPhone 8 will cost at least $1100
Same argument those who like to phones use. Your end titles to your subjective opinion but you're paying twice the cost for 10% of the functionality increment.
By your logic, why even upgrade from an iPhone 6? Whats the big deal between an iPhone 7 and a 6?
I suspect oled anomalies will irk you also, since from your posts you are very particular.
I accept that every technology has flaws. Taking that into consideration even with flaws OLED simply outshines LCD on a factual basis. Its the reason why Apple's top iPhone uses OLED
You are getting the display you like best based on someone else's opinion, is what you're doing.
Not only by Displaymate's metric but Apple themselves. Good luck getting an LCD iPhone next year
Better is not an absolute, it's an opinion.
We are talking facts. Ryzen is factually better than Intel's current overpriced lineup till Coffeelake launches and yet it wont sell nearly as well as Kabylake will. The Galaxy S8 is factually better than the iPhone 7 till the 8 launches but wont sell nearly as well as the 7 will
I'm talking about apples earnings call, no doom or gloom in that as was predicted
Well you win some you lose some. I wouldnt bet my house on Apple maintaning this trend for even 3 years sequentially though
iOS 11 wasn't released, sales didn't bouy the product based on the public beta.
Everyone knows how the iPad Pro 10.5 will be after iOS 11 is released. The best part is that Apple improved the display on the iPad Pro 10.5 by upping the refresh rate to 120hz and its almost as smooth as my 144hz monitor. Because of the better display and iOS 11 people found a reason to upgrade like me
I was discussing....I wasn't here until 2013. And your(incorrect) point was since 2013 you've been declaring doom and gloom for Apple. It hasn't happened. People are gleeful when a quarterly report is down in some metric but up in the same metric ytd. Bottom line, love him or hate him cook is here to stay and he has made Apple his.
I am not predicting doom and gloom. I am telling you that Apple's products are not the smooth sailing they used to be. Theres ups and downs. This shows cracks in the iPhone castle.
