Still can't get on the app, this is as bad as a iPhone launch . Anyone get on yet?
 
Yes, I was actually able to switch through the APP. The website itself is a mess, impossible to log on. Servers are probably overwhelmed.
 
Well, credit card providers take a portion of the charges, which is why it's better for carriers if people don't use them so they don't lose out on that money, which is probably why they are encouraging the use of debit and direct bank payments.

How can they tell the difference between debit and credit card when processing the payment online?

The card processor that they would be going through can tell what kind of an account the card is tied to.
 
Been trying to turn stream saver off online and through the app all day. Keeps erroring out. Finally caved in and call support. Surprisingly it was only a 4 minute wait.

Yeah they are having issues on phone support disabling it too. Oh well might have to give it a day. 480p won't kill me for a day!

They said try again tomorrow morning, they are still having system issues, probably reason why the app is still down for me.
Is your personal hotspot feature now working on your iPhone? Mine still says to call AT&T. I'm sure it'll start working soon?
 
Okay guys, I reached out to account executive to get some insight on the FAN discounts now that it's regular business hours. The FAN discounts do not apply to either of these new unlimited plans. The only exception is the military discounts. She read to me the memo that was sent out from her boss from the corporate office that will be trickled down in the coming days to the other employees.

I can also confirm this. I see a dash in the corporate discount row under the unlimited plus/choice plans columns. However, I do see the discount applied in my now legacy unlimited plan in the corporate discount row under retired unlimited plan.
Good to know... taking in DD214.
 
Clck on "View Price Details" on the Unlimited Plan. You'll see "-" for your corporate discount - i.e., no discount.

Thanks for this. I was thinking of jumping over to this plan until I saw this screen

If they ONLY accept bank draft, no. If they accept regular credit yes, but after I 100% know my FAN discount is being applied.

UPDATE: I switched back to my old unlimited data plan. I've already spoken to too many reps and managers telling me they will not give FAN discounts on the new plus plan even though I have chat proof that the rep told me otherwise.

I was using my credit card because of the cash back feature but ATT said only bank draft or debit card. I swapped to my debit card to save $10 a month.
