2 reasons because he's bragging, and because you can still get in a lot of trouble for this. If an NDA is in place with AT&T and Apple, and he signed one to work for AT&T or Apple, then he can loss job, be fined, and go to jail.
NDA are pretty standard now days. It doesn't matter if it is common knowledge, NDAs are legally binding documents.

Th eonly thing you sign when working at an APLLE store is one of those anything you create is ours things. i do not remember signing a NDA. You usually do not get any information that the public doesnt get, so really no need for one.

I can remember working at an apple store that i woudl find out more here then form the company. Apple employees are clueless, and it shoudl be that way

It works great I think...since I don't know Japanese of course

I hope for his sake your right, but do you remember everything you signed. Better question, did you read it all?

It just seems too good that he is posting all this information. I can't imagine him not getting some flack.

thanks for the feedback ....

the problem with NDAs is they cover specific information. quite honestly i don't believe he has revealed anything that wasn't already in the public domain. (i.e. made public by apple themselves prior to his disclosure)

unreasonable "steveish" internal policies ... well yeah ... hire at will right? so if apple is really that anal then sure... i'd like to think otherwise

cheers

They don't have to cover specific information. NDA can say just about anything, so even say you can't say you signed one. ;)

Seriously as controlling as Apple is, they aren't going let this slide. You let this slide, you might let others slide.

Besides first rule about iPhone, you do not talk about iPhone. Second rule about iPhone, you do not talk about iPhone. :)

not everybody uses IM

Erm... unless I missed it:

Why is the OP specifically denying everybody's request to see Meebo?

Very easy thing to do:

1. Head to http://www.meebo.com

2. Log in to any instant messaging client

3. Post if you see your buddy list or not

... kthnxbye

Maybe he doesn't use IM, in which case he wouldn't have an account to log into or a buddy list to view.

You might as well post a detailed in depth review. Hopefully if you do a good job you can get a job for elsewhere once you get the pink slip.

+ it'd be nice to get your take on it. So we can get a normal persons point of view.

i write NDAs every month ... the information can be defined broadly yes but my "better" ;-) point was that he hasn't divulged anything confidential. everything shown or told has already been disclosed by apple.

anyway no reason to sidetrack the thread. cheers!
