2 reasons because he's bragging, and because you can still get in a lot of trouble for this. If an NDA is in place with AT&T and Apple, and he signed one to work for AT&T or Apple, then he can loss job, be fined, and go to jail.
NDA are pretty standard now days. It doesn't matter if it is common knowledge, NDAs are legally binding documents.

Th eonly thing you sign when working at an APLLE store is one of those anything you create is ours things. i do not remember signing a NDA. You usually do not get any information that the public doesnt get, so really no need for one.
I can remember working at an apple store that i woudl find out more here then form the company. Apple employees are clueless, and it shoudl be that way
