Where’s the distance in this instance? Seriously would like to know.
Others have already listed them... different typeface & puncutation, "R" in a weird box that Apple doesn't use, Apple always uses its logo, etc. (This is why I originally said nothing about it particularly looks like an Apple ad... the distance is wide!)

It's probably from Oneplus. Green has been the color of choice for their newer devices.

Similar typeface. Same punctuation. Of course there’s no logo, that’s the point of buzz and hype. A new line of products can get its own box design. It’s not that hard to comprehend, and it’s not a large jump.

List one phone that looks like an iPhone, but is not an iPhone.
RedMi 12
Oppo Reno 6
Several Xiaomi phones

Oh look, the green one looks exactly like the one in the advertisement! I had no idea Apple was making Xiaomi phones now! This is 100% definitive proof because it looks like the advertisement! 🙄

It’s a Google search away my friend.

those are different typefaces. round dots vs square and the apostrophe is very different.
Oh shush, people that insist that companies don’t have dedicated design languages that are going to completely upended by a “stealth” launch don’t want to hear it 😂

Apple’s marketing influence is everywhere, this is a crystal clear attempt at mimicking their branding. But it’s 1000% not Apple.

And a plane flight.
They don’t look like apple anyway.
Shot from the angles in the advertising you’re insisting is Apple’s, this looks exactly like the topic of the thread.

It is still not officially sold in US though xiaomi would be no1 copycats of apple. Wasted money on that AD.

Go ahead, completely ignore the bottom of the phone in the ad, which is exactly what the bottom of an iPhone looks like. Charging port, speaker port, microphone port and all.

I don’t think xaomi officially sells in the states, so running ads in the states would be weird.
Yesterday, I found out Chinese influencers, that have never been to the US, run ads in Times Square for clout. :) The owners of the billboards don’t care, if you’ve got from 40 bucks to a few hundred thousand to burn, they’ll post your reasonable message/image.

Right, with a usb connector and flat edges ONLY Apple could design such a thing.

What I’m saying is that plenty of companies mimic Apple’s design. This is another one, whatever company it actually is. I’m not saying the phone in question is an already on the market device. You understand the point I’m making, right?

No I don’t. The simplest answer is often correct - it’s a new iPhone. Not some other company ripping off Apple. That’s wild.

Nice job downplaying your investment so when you’re proven wrong you can say “I DIDNT EVEN CARE THAT MUCH”
That’s a parody of an earlier post that you liked. :) One can’t “have zero investment” and at the same time plan to laugh at one particular outcome. I mean, just posting to the thread is greater than zero investment. Zero investment would align more with not having any emotional response whatsoever.

I will ABSOLUTELY have an emotional response. :D

How is that wild? That’s been the business model for dozens of fly-by-night companies for over a decade now.

Apple also owns their own typefaces, designed by them. That box around the R is completely un-Apple like as well. They always use a single line outline. This ain’t it chief.

Also, platitudes are not evidence of anything.

“Un-Apple like” is not evidence of anything either.

At first I was convinced it could be Apple, then convinced it couldn't be Apple, and now I think it could be again.

If it is Apple doing a stealth campaign, it makes sense that they wouldn't use elements that only they could use (San Francisco font, logo etc). I'm in the camp that the logo (and font) will switch on the 12th. 😆

If it isn't, I'm on the edge of my seat for whatever this phone is, and I've never really been excited for a non-Apple phone release. This is a rollercoaster and I'm here for it lmaoo

I’m thinking more about this font. The only difference is the squaring off of the dots (in the “i,” the period, and the apostrophe). This could be a play on the new squared off outline of the R. It’s staring us in the face. They’re innovating their font. Lol.

In the text below the phone, it’s hard to be certain, but I think the dots are back to round like normal San Francisco.

Great job comparing influencers: mr beast also pays 1 million to his janitor and sends 20k bucks to random girls and boys streaming on youtube. Xiaomi is not your regular mindless influencer type of people.

That's the most complicated and unlikely answer, considering no rumor of such a phone has surfaced on this website AFAIK (...among all the other reasons that have been repeatedly pointed out).
