I report my experience after finally receiving the adapter from ebay.
The SDD I used is the 512GB Sabrent 2242.
Here are the steps I took:
1) I removed the mac panel
2) I unplugged the battery connector (covered by a plastic piece and two screws) to avoid damage to the new disk.
3) I have removed the old original 128gb ssd
4) I mounted the new ssd (sabrent) on the adapter and mounted it on the mac.
5) I reconnected the battery and I closed the mac.
6) I turned on the mac and started a bootable pen with Mojave on it
7) I started the terminal and initialized the new ssd with APFS filesystem
8) I made a clean installation of Mojave
9) After carrying out the basic configuration of Mojave I enabled the TRIM function on the new ssd
10) I installed some apps and started doing some tests
I can say that the disk works perfectly and I have not encountered any type of problem, neither of battery nor of speed or other. I think hibernation problems are due either to the type of filesystem or to some conflict when trying to install a copy of the previous disk, however I haven't encountered this problem either. I made a comparison with the old ssd with blackmagic, here are the results:
Although the reading speed of the sabrent is lower, I have not found any speed differences compared to the old ssd and I want to clarify that I use a lot xcode which uses a lot of system resources but works exactly as before.
