That's the beauty of Android, it's so customizable that once setup to an individual's liking, you can enjoy it for as long as you like. Then if you get bored it's easy to try something fresh.

I have Nova and Apex set up with different looks so if a get bored i can just switch it without having to spend time fiddling with it.

And in my case, I am just happy that I have a device with hardware that matches all my needs AND runs stock android without flaws. Flashing cm or aokp always ends up in weird bugs, but this is specifically for s4 as my model is the same as the google edition spec wise. That's all I wanted.

I could have flashed the 4.3 leak but I'll wait until it comes out officially and until then enjoy the 4.2.2.

Now my nexus 4 toting brother is jealous haha.

I'm very impressed with the S4 right out of the box stock.

TouchWiz is greatly improved and yet the haters assume it's like the older versions. It's so good that I enjoyed it for a full month before making any changes to mine.

I root and use custom ROM'S on my S4, not because it needs it like the older phones, but simply cause that's something I really enjoy doing.

I just can't say enough good things about the S4. The funny part is that I almost didn't upgrade from my S3 cause I had that one setup so nicely it was doing great.

In fact it was the 5" display that convinced me since it's a big upgrade in clarity brightness contrast and improved sensitivity. I now end up using the phone more than ever. Android has really come a long way.

Still unrooted for me. The only thing I did was switch to Nova launcher and swap out the back cover for the wireless charging one. Other than that, it's like it came out of the box. I just don't feel that it needs to be changed. It suits my needs, and I get great battery life.

How's the wireless charging ? :) Does it take longer to charge for example ?

Yes, but I don't notice it. I only charge at night when I'm asleep, although it would be a nice addition for a desk at work or something.

I use the Nexus Orb charger, works great. And if you keep the sticky ring on the Orb clean, the S4 sticks like glue.

Yeah I saw the Twitter post from Engadget last night. I checked my AT&T device last night, not on our side yet. But the fact that one of the carriers has it is a great sign.

I wonder if the Accessibility Services issues have been fixed. Ie, when you turn them on, you can no longer use gallery in full screen (among other issues I've read about).

There are several lock screen widgets, ie NILS, that require Accessibility Services.

AT&T just released the update. Installing the 375mb download now. So happy to be able to free up some of my paltry 16gb's.

Is this only for the S4 or is the S3 getting this update as well?

I just checked where it says "software update" on my phone and it says it is currently up to date with no new updates and I am on 4.1.1.

For those of you who have received the update how many/ much of your apps are you able to put onto an SD card? Wondering how much of a difference is this really making.

Anyone know if T-Mobile has started to push out the updates to their S4s yet?

is the wireless charging cover a bit thicker? seen pics to that affect but it doesn't really bother the camera does it? Current bored 4S user looking to flip those letters to S4, wireless charing and all.

The wireless charing back cover is a little thicker than the standard back cover. However, it doesn't affect the camera at all as far as taking pictures. In fact, it helps protect the camera because now my phone doesn't sit on the camera lens when I set the phone down on my desk.

The one big drawback to this back cover is that 99% of the current line of cases for the S4 won't fit the phone with the wireless charging back cover attached.

It's only for the S4 at the moment, but the S3 will get 4.2.2 as well in the near future.
But you should be on 4.1.2 with your S3 I mean.

A friend of mine got the S4 at Metro PCS this morning for $549.

I told him about using dash clock lockscreen with extensions. He wanted to try it and we downloaded the widget and some extensions.

I could find no way to use this lock screen in the settings. How does one disable the stock one on the S4 to use the one you want?

Thanks in advance for your help.
