Hey it was 9.30 even I draw a line at some point ha

Thought hey if I'm having heart attack on a plate might as well have the large one

Lol, seriously here a big breakfast includes what you had there + black pudding and white pudding (white pudding is particularly yummy), soda bread and you could have got chips too ... It's like cardiac arrest on a plate !!' :)

When I was walking the Camino De Santiago a few weeks back, i was surprised to see that Egg, Sausage & Chips was also a northern Spanish staple (though the sausages were Chorizo). Also if you ordered an omelette, it came wedged between two thick cuts of bread ...

Yeah one of our group fancied an omelette as a lighter 'brunch' and when it arrived it was this mammoth 14" sub and we all were looking at it thinking 'is that an omelette?' ... There we looked around and saw others who ordered same getting the same, the poor girl still managed to eat about half before bread carb overdose kicked in .... :D

I don't know how to explain it but I am assuming it is just a comfort/timing thing.

I think the S7E is one of the best phones in the last 3-5 years it is that good. Hardware is the best in the business, amazing screen, and a camera off the charts.

That said, it still feels a little "clunky" when coming from iOS for me. Biggest things being sending media, lack of my apple watch, and the environment all my other devices interact with my phone (continuity on my mac/macbook, remote for apple tv, FaceTime with my family across the country). AppleMusic beta is also pretty meh but not a big deal.

The screen on the S7E doesn't seem as responsive as my iPhone as well as I seem to have to tap things multiple times for it to register within the browser.

These are not huge things, but they are still things.

With kids and living in Texas nearing summer time, I absolutely love the waterproofing and ability for those interactions with my kids in splash pads, pools, and other places with water.

I have about 5 days left before I need to decide to return it or not. I try to make Android fit into my everyday tasks versus it flowing more naturally due to the way I've built most of my surroundings.

Tough call here

My advice...just use what makes you most comfortable, what feels right, and makes life easier, plain and simple, hardware specs be damned. And no, I'm not telling him to use the iPhone per se, but rather ignore the hardware specs and pay attention to the user experience that he enjoys most. That may absolutely be the S7e, or it may not--but don't feel like you've made an inferior choice if ultimately you do go back to the iPhone because 'on paper' it doesn't match up.

I can relate...my Apple Watch was calling my name when I was test driving the Nexus 6P/Huawei combo. That little dalliance just didn't quite match up, experience-wise for me. :p

lol...when it calls your name...ya gotta answer the call :)

I hammered my battery quite abit under 4G which is might be why it needed to be recharged at about 22.00 last night. Still got about 4 hours, 30 mins screen on time. Was only 15 hours in total but still it lasted me through to just before bed so it did the job.

All my widgets and twitter notifications is might be why it won't last more than a day but certainly would rather use the phone how i want than worry about battery life

it's connected to the gear S2 all day now too.

The s7e is the first smartphone where I'm not actively paying attention to or checking my battery life.

Well I have come back to the 6S+ and returned the S7E.

I summed it up in cohesion with your comments here that I was fitting my life to the S7E versus the other way around with how my other devices are integrated into my world.

The S7E is easily the best smartphone hardware wise that I have possibly ever used as everything about it was perfect for me. The camera was insanely great. Beautiful screen. Thin form factor for a big screen. All of it is a knockout package.

Where it lacked for me was the OS. iOS fits better into my world with an AW, Macbook pro, Mac desktop, and an AppleTV.

Android has made leaps and bounds from the last time I used it and TW on the Samsung device was very good and a pleasurable experience. I just feel like it was a little off and clunky for an overall liking of what I wanted.

First day back on the iPhone and it felt more natural with what I wanted to do.

Sorry for the long, lame story of my adventure but wanted to share my thoughts. :)

I am glad you found what works best for you :) I know your AW was calling your name and that is hard to resist!
I respect that you didn't bad mouth something just because it didn't fit your needs! You can't go wrong with the 6s+...it is a great phone!

It really was.
I love this forum and the biggest positive about it is real world feedback when you can filter through the haters of certain products or brands and get down to the people that see this isn't some kind of popularity contests but tech enthusiasts helping each other with honest tech feedback.

It was so hard to turn in that beautiful silver titanium device and going back to this bigger, larger bezel, dimmer display but the moment I signed back into iOS I got that "I am home" feeling lol.
