lol I hear you on that! It does take a little getting used to for sure. I have taken it in the pool a few times now with no adverse effects.That is really impressive but I would never be able to do that myself.
There's just something inside me that prevents me from putting electronic devices next to or under water. It's almost subconscious at this point and it's going to take many years of water proof devices before I start losing this habit.

correct they are not waterproof. But they do advertise water resistance and they are IP68 certified. I have heard some had warranty issues but have also heard some have had no problem getting a replacement as well.But again, it is not advertised as water proof, just water resistant. Samsung will not repair or replace under warranty, a water damaged S7/Edge. People have been turned down for such claims already.
Samsung says it can withstand 30 minutes under water at 1.5 meters.
