Nice find! I installed this on my N7. Love it.
Yeah it works well generally. I enable fast / speed mode in settings so it's more responsive. Just deciding whether haptic feedback is worth the pro version unlock or just use free version. But will see if there are any issues over next 24 hours, but so far it's really good. :)

Doesn't work for me though? When I am on lock screen I still have to press the button and then when it's unlocked it becomes too sensitive and reads "home" twice throwing me into Nova's "widgets/wallpapers" screen. Am I missing an option somewhere?

Strange, it's working perfect on my lock screen and I have finger print scanner enabled too.

Make sure you haven't ticked short touch under locked setting perhaps

My August security update has just come through. Downloading it now. It mentioned in the notes that it includes the cloud feature so will check it out when it's finished installing.

Wow did anyone know about this app? Essentially it makes your home button capacative so it will work with a touch rather than a press.

WOW. This app has gotten a lot better. Before, it had issues with long touch and more importantly it wasn't reliable. Now it seems better and more consistent.

Great job bringing this back up.

My battery life doesn't seem all too great on my S7. To make matters worse, the dude who sold me it on Swappa? He sold me a phone with a left over balance.

Here are some screenshots of last night with the battery:

I've been doing some testing lately and the results are quite surprising. There very well could be something wrong with my S7 Edge but I would need to test further to determine if that's the cause.

I have noticed my S7E getting quite warm during phone calls and I attributed it to the latest updates but even the latest update has yet to change anything. For comparison sake, the software it shipped with did not exhibit this issue at all.

A 33 minute phone call appears to use more battery life than 33 minutes of browsing the Web as evidenced by Marshmallows built in mAh consumption indicator.

This makes no logical sense to me and I'm at a loss as to why my S7E is experiencing this much drain from simple phone calls. Mirroring the screen to the chrome cast and streaming a movie doesn't result in any heat while a simple phone call does.

Anyone else experiencing similar behaviour?

Mines direct from samsung uk and I still haven't got it!
Yep, just goes to show that slow or delayed updates are not the automatic blame of carriers as often presumed. Knowing that it is out on a carrier model means we are invariably going to be checking for an update a couple times a day now getting peeved when it says were up to date.

Great app. Stopped using it a while ago on my S6 because every now and then it would stop working until I manually enabled it again. Became really annoying after a while and uninstalled it.

Has anyone checked out already if Samsung Cloud restores app data like iTunes backup does?

It's all very random. There is no rhyme or reason as to when you'll receive your update it's frustrating.

Here are some of my GSAM stats on this Imgur link. I am worried I am dealing with lousy battery life and have to charge my phone once a day mid-day to get anything done. I was expecting 5-6 SOT and decent stand by battery life with Doze. Even with Airplane Mode and Wi-Fi, my phone's battery life drains a bit too. I did a cache wipe and dalvik cache wipe too.

I have the July Patch with stock T-Mobile software: Baseband G930TUVU3APG1

Do I need to do a factory data reset of some sorts? Or wait for a new update, even though T-Mobile is taking their merry ole time with the August patch?

The July update is known to be the cause of higher than normal Android System drain, I had the same issue and ended up factory resetting my device as Android System was keeping my phone awake for 14 out of the 16 total hours on charge.

The Factory reset seems to have helped reduce android system drain but regardless the July update seems to draw more power than the previous updates even when Android system is tamed.

It has crossed my mind to roll back to the software build the S7 shipped with as everything afterwards has been a consistent downgrade and disappointment. On light usage days, I would end the day with 70% battery left, thats next to impossible on these latest software builds for me.

Damn, that sucks. I hope I can get the August or September patch soon.

The August update also appears to be hit or miss regarding battery life, some report that drain is reduced while others say it is increased. There is a small discussion going on reddit about the latest update.

The American carriers are still relatively good compared to the Canadian carriers, my S7E has so far received 2 updates since I bought it on launch day. The first update came in May and included the display scaling option and shape correction in the Camera, it also brought Android System drain along.
The next update came a few weeks ago and that was the July security update which basically took the android system drain already present and made it a lot worse.

At this point it's a waiting game as to when the next update arrives for my S7E and it's almost like Russian Roulette as to how it will perform. For comparison, my S6 which I kept as a backup only received the 6.0 marshmallow update a week ago for Canadian devices. I'm not holding my breath for an update anymore.

Has anybody noticed huge battery drain when using Spotify with S7 (July update)? After an hour of listening Spotify is responsible for 24% of battery loss, and compared to yesterday – when I didn't use it – I have 40% battery at the end of the day and 68% yesterday, very light use other than listening to music. There's a (very short) thread on Spotify Android forum and it looks like the issue is S7-related.
