One of my kids has decide to jump back from iphone and I am going to get them an S7 or Edge today. How much of a difference in battery life is there between the two? I am going to get one off ebay or swappa today more than likely. If anyone here has one they would sell please let me know
[doublepost=1480510974][/doublepost]This is the best deal on an edge I have found

I have two S7 Edge phones so I downloaded the beta only to one even though I applied on both. Once the bugs get worked out more, I'll install the beta on the other.
Haha! Nice one! Wish I had 2, 1 of them would have been bricked and revived multiple times by now, testing ROMs and Mods.

I had to tame the Tinkererer... in me.

Anyone who used nightmode apps like Twilight on the beta? Can you give a quick comparison between that and the blue light filter?

I haven't noticed the white. I'm using a theme so that really helps.

I almost forgot about themes. I'm going to find a darker theme. Love customization.

And so far, Nougat is good. Lots of little changes as you mentioned. Many I like, a few I don't. One of my fav things from Nougat? The double-tap to alt switch between apps. So so useful.

Okay so my best guess is that the Google now launcher isn't optimized for Nougat yet because I'm starting to experience lag like I've never seen before on my s7e. I ran TouchWiz for a bit and it's very smooth which is how I arrived at my theory. So until Google now launcher gets updated and optimized, I need to go back to Marshmallow.

Before I do, is anyone else running the beta with Google now launcher and experiencing the same thing?

Little lag on GN launcher too. I like the TW launcher better though.
I know what you mean about the white though!
But this is pretty smooth for a beta!

The device on the TouchWiz side runs super smoothly with the Nougat beta. I may use TouchWiz for now until Google now launcher gets optimized for Nougat. That way I get to stay on 7.0.

So, how does one uninstall the Nougat beta?

It's a fine beta, but it isn't ready for prime time.

I am not sure. But I think you have to unregister first. Then they send you another update.

There's no clear way on how to do that. And I just did a factory reset to no avail. I'm stuck on Nougat beta. :O

When will the final build land? Has there been any word? Or the next beta update?
