That is fantastic.

I use a dark Blue theme, I live the colour, I find it calming, lol.

I sometimes do give Black themes a try but I get bored of their blankness quickly.

The battery life on this phone is amazing. I have had it off charge since around 7am this morning, it's now 8:30pm almost and I am at 42%. Still plenty juice left to catch up on my series when I get into bed in an hour :D

I never thought Smartphones would ever get to this point, I remember how horrendous my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i (my 1st Android) battery was, I'd be constantly watching that battery indicator, and the last 2-3 generations of Android Flagships have really gone leaps and bounds above what they used to be in Battery. My Galaxy Note4 had great battery life to but this S7 Edge has really taken it to a new level where I can use the phone constantly.

Many people talk about how certain phones have great battery but that's mostly Stand By battery, as a heavy user I have always wanted a phone that took a hammering all day and still made it to the night with enough juice to entertain me before bed. During the day I have music going, Skype chat, WhatsApp, 3email accounts, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, the Google News and weather widget, calendar widget, countless calendar reminders for meetings etc... My phones spend pretty much most of their lives being used heavily and the S7 Edge has truly stood out as one that can take such a heavy hammering with no worries of Battery dying at any point.

I'm home from work with 83% battery :)

I love the battery on the S7 edge, I can't tell if Nougat has made much if a difference yet.
I only use dark themes since themes have been a thing, can't stand white menus.

I picked my phone up on Friday after a week without it while the screen got fixed, purchased a Meizu M3s (great little phone for the money) to get by and throw in the drawer but I missed my lovely screen.

I wonder how many days this phone would last time if I just used it moderately, lol.
I've let one of my S7 Edge phones just sit here on standby for a week to see how long the battery would last with an active sim card in it. I got about 5.5 days. I believe U had 1.5 hrs screen time on it as well.

The S7 deals are remarkable right now.
I picked up a blue coral S7 Edge at T-Mobile two weeks ago for $360. I didn't need it in reality because I have two other working S7 Edge phones but I wanted to replace the third one that I broke on Christmas Eve. They wanted $350-400 to replace the display and I got a brand new one for that price.

I have the 2 lines on T-Mobile for $100 plus the third line for free so I am using all them on the three edges I have. The blue edge is the line I use to call and text on mainly.

I absolutely love the S7 edge, best phone I have ever owned.

with 7.0 I can use power saving mode and lower screen resolution and actually be able to use the device with it running to slow for daily use.

before 7.0 the phone would lag to much to use regularly.

Glad you did that test so I do not have to find the time to do it, lol!
That is fantastic it lasted that long :)

That is a lot of S7 Edge models you got there. I do believe this phone is an anomaly, whoever decided on its battery capacity at Samsung was brilliant, but seeing that the Note7 came with 3500mah battery and the S8 may come with the same despite larger displays, is reason enough to collect some S7 Edges, lol.

Any word on when Canadians will get the update? Feels like I've been waiting forever. A little green hearing others praise 7.0 for the most part.

I ordered a S7 Gold for $347 after tax, but hoping Samsung gives me $46 back with a credit because of some pricing program. I am flipping the SD card to a friend for $15. Sold my Nexus 5X as well.

Considering buying an S7 Edge in Corel Blue, can't help but think I should wait for the S8. The prices are going to be ridiculous though...

Depends if you need the extra horsepower, bigger and better screen, slightly upgraded camera, USB Type C, and the extra biometrics?

If not, S7 Edge it is for you since you save $ and get a great smartphone. When it's all said and done, I think I might pay like $100 USD out of pocket for my S7 since I sold my Nexus 5X and plan on selling my SD card that came with it.

I plan to sell my iPhone 7 Plus so that will eat up the cost of buying the S7 Edge. I like to have the newest tech but the S8 leaked images so far haven't looked very nice imo.

Getting the S7 or S7 Edge in the near future isn't out of the question for me. Especially if the deals keep piling on like this. I imagine they'll only get sweeter as the S8 launch nears.

The S8 isn't a guaranteed home run. And with the rumored price hikes, it'll make the S7 prices even more enticing. Even as I anticipate the S8, I'm keeping a close eye on the continued S7 price drops and deals.

And if indeed the S8 is a pass, the S7 would serve more than enough until the Pixel 2.

Does anyone know of any good deals in the UK on the S7E blue? I've been looking around and seems to start at about £560 still.

Do we think the price will drop further upon the S8 reveal?

I would love the S8+ but hearing these rumored £800+ prices means it's not really feasible for me yet!

Just an update, i got a Corel blue S7 edge and it's actually beautiful, i cant believe how nice it looks and feels.

Smart move to get in on the action. I do appreciate the Coral Blue's color scheme because I saw a customer's while I was working yesterday. Makes me appreciate it more than my gold colored S7.

The S7 has absolutely no comprimises in my opinion.

Great spec
Great software
Great design
It pains me to say that, but S7 is the quality product I would normally expect from Apple. I've had mine now for half a year and I have exactly zero complaints. The best thing being my wireless charger. I go to bed, lay the phone next to me on the charger (I have an Ikea bed with the frame being exactly the right width), alarm goes in the morning, I pick up charged phone. What are those cables you speak of?

I picked up the wireless fast charger as well as my Corel S7 edge and i cant believe how excited I am about this phone. It was a pleasure to wake up to what is basically a bedside clock with the upright wireless charger and always on screen.

It's been a long time since i felt like this about a phone, the only thing i wish it had was USB c but it's no deal breaker.

Well said. The s7 is still my most favorite smartphone ever. It's the most worry-free phone I've ever owned.

Hopefullythe S7 Edge will continue to be a great device for me until late next year. I am in it for the long haul, until the Note 9.

I'll probably get another case for it soon. I just hope the Battery does not go bad, my Note 4 battery went bad after 1.5 years of using it, the difference here is that the S7 Edge battery is sealed and i don't want anyone opening my phone.

I'll be honest, if the S8 fails to impress or is too wildly expensive, I would consider getting an S7 with the amazing price cuts/deals we're seeing now.

Then I could wait for the Pixel 2. ;)

Anyone who doesn't care for the latest tech, should definitely pick up an S7/S7 Edge. The phone has just been flawless for me. I got my Nougat update yesterday. So far no issues. I love the changes they made to use experience. And battery life seems the same so far. This is my first full charge on Nougat. Just a real solid phone.

Funny part is that phones like the HTC U Ultra and LG G6 are more like S7 Edge competitors, they aren't latest tech really

But totally get what you are saying, it is fantastic. :)
