And with the better and rounder edges, the device is apparently far more comfortable to hold.

A lot of people's complaints of the edge variants from last year were that the edge of the devices sometimes felt sharp.

Now it's more ergonomic, more round, and apparently more comfortable. And all for a 3600 mah battery!

What a win.

Yes. This is my biggest concern about the larger edge variant.

Could you elaborate more? Very hard one handed use? Is it impossible because of constant accidental palm touches? How is typing? Etc.

Others who know please chime in too.
The S6 Edge+ WITHOUT a Spigen hybrid case had numerous accidental registered screen taps. It was infuriating. WITH the case in the last 6 months, I've had maybe 1 or 2. Case made all the difference. With a smaller S7 Edge and rounded back, I don't see it being much of a concern. I'm still getting a Spigen hybrid thin case though. Doubt I'll have any accidental touch inputs to worry about.

I must give Samsung credit on some little much needed design changes;

Home button doesn't have the cheesy cheap chrome ring around it anymore, it's now the same color as the phone, which looks great on the black.

And the edges on the black, look more dark grey, as opposed to last year's phones having a lighter brushed nicke almost silverish look. This new dark grey looks way better on the black.

And the S7 Edge having a massive 3,600mAh battery and being water resistant, and great size 5.5" screen, but in a pretty minimal overall body. Wow this phone looks so tempting to me now.

The size of the device really blows me away.

The s7 edge may be the first "large" device that regular-size phone lovers can handle. It's not much bigger than the regular s7, and its actually smaller than the current note 5, which is already regarded as an amazingly small device for a 5.5" screen phone. And the edge this time is apparently more rounded and ergonomic, too. All to fit a 3600 size battery.

Just a win in design and decision at every turn.

I just really hope accidental palm touches are not/no longer a problem. =X

1) Samsung have done an amazing job here, clearly. Can't wait for reviews!

2) Be not afraid of going backwards - I went from 5.5" screen to the S6 Edge's 5.1" and prefer it.

3) I will be utterly confused as to which one to get in a few months, the S7 or the S7 Edge... Both look cracking!

4) Has the fingerprint sensor been improved?

Interesting.

I guess I will have to get some thorough hands on time. Especially to try out one handed use.

I love and appreciate all the gains a larger screen and sized phone can get us, but one handed use needs to be reasonably doable.

Thanks for your input.

I don't even really care about the edge software features. I will probably use it sparingly or just keep it basic.

What the edge screen does for me is just to provide a more immersive screen experience. I love how the current edge devices make the screen pop. They also make sliding feel more natural.

To me it's more about the day to day gains of using such a screen.

And I guess a bit of vanity too because it's designed beautifully.

No, what doesn't make sense if having two storage options and giving a country only one. I don't see them limiting other countries to just 32GB. And MY CHOICE makes perfect sense FOR ME. My apps alone take up 26GB and I have more than enough media to fill up a 200GB card. So this option doesn't work FOR ME.

If you need more than 232gb of storage I don't know what an extra 32gb on board will get you.

You can buy another SD card and is the purpose of them as they are easily swapped out.

May I ask, what phone do you use now? Just curious.

Why are you trying to justify this ****** decision? If 32GB was good for everybody they wouldn't have bothered with a 64GB version. I already said why it wasn't good enough for me, so I'm not getting the phone is that's the only option. Stop trying to change my mind.

On the Samsung US website they're only advertising the 32GB version, which seems to imply that's all we're getting over here.
Its all about logistics. Yes YOU may require 64gb and a 200gb card for YOUR needs but YOU ONLY are not worth the cost in logistics to get the product to your country given YOU likely represent the minority. Samsung (and most other android manufacturers) probably care less about offering different memory sizes this time round given marshmallows sd card support. I wouldn't be surprised to see 32gb as the max size across nearly all new android phones except the Nexus (but the nexus will not have sd card support) .

Poor LG. Samsung has completely stolen their thunder today.

I really like the S7... but I don't know if I want to make the jump back to Android ugh

And like I said, if this is the only option, I'm just not buying the phone.

Just buy an international version with 64gb but I'm curious what phone you use now because there really isn't anything that supports 200gb SD cards and has enough storage to beat 232gb that u can get out the box with a 200gb sdcard.

Sounds like you are upset over nothing.

Samsung is not including the adoptable storage on the S7.

Black is nice, but one of these two will be my options:

I think silver.
