Everyone so far who have gotten a shipping notification, did you order the Edge?
Yep, Silver Titanium.

No idea. I'm on TMoAre any of the phones that are shipping from att?
Still hasn't shipped for me yet, but I'm sure it will soon.Sweet.... my S7 edge just went from
Louisville, KY to Albuquerque, NM....almost to Arizona![]()
Just turned the Oscar's on and saw a few commercials already. Smart move on Samsung part. The Oscars is showing that Samsung commercial for the s7 A LOT. Feels like it comes on every break. The one with just text over black backdrop naming the big features of the s7 mixed with shots of the device. All set to subtle piano.
It's a pretty nice commercial.
Waterproof phones is an easy sell IMO. You never think you need it want it, until you do.
Really is a great feature, and hopefully on all future phones. Take near shower or bath with no worries. Take to swimming pool. Don't worry bringing outside in the rain, doing outdoor activities. Don't worry about accidentally dropping in sink doing dishes or washing up.
I think yours and mine are on the same planes. Mine went from Lexington, Kentucky to Albuquerque to Phoenix tooView attachment 618950 T-Mobile USA, My S7 arrives tomorrow!
Actually, T-Mobile screwed up my order and they are sending an S7 and an S7 Edge. I have to refuse shipment of the one I didn't want, because it was too late to cancel. Keeping the S7. Don't want the Edge!I think yours and mine are on the same planes. Mine went from Lexington, Kentucky to Albuquerque to Phoenix too![]()
It's not a gimmick if it is something designed to help the phone and not interfere with anything you do. And they say that it is good up to 3 feet of water, nor more, so water pressure is not a factor. (You use it in 30 feet of ocean water and that is on you!) And a water faucet is unlikely to produce enough pressure to break the gasket seal "within" the phone, but even if it does, the interior is sprayed with the nanoparticle coating with prevents water damage to electronics. I've used it on race bikes and the stuff works. It's more gimmicky if you think about it. They don't factor in water pressure too much nor pressure from jets, faucets, etc. I am very cautious with my phones, but even w/ water resistance (don't get me wrong, I like having it), I still have to be careful. I do know that the rain won't matter to me. When I took my old S5 to a Cancun resort, I was careful around the pool. Luckily, there are no gasket covers for the S7/S7 Edge.

Its most likely a design choice by the app developer instead of scaling, or they haven't updated for the 6 Plus. Here are some pics of a bunch of apps on both my iPhone 6S Plus and Note 5, and for the most part they seem about the same. I tried my best to line up the content.

Yes, I agree that there are stupid people in this world that will try taking the phone diving or some other nonsense. Nothing can be done about those people. The average Joe should be okay though.mdropping it in the sink, tub or whatever. I'm sure the phone would also survive just fine if dropped in the deep end of the pool, as long as it is scooped out fairly quickly. That nanoparticle spray is pretty amazing stuff! But if used properly, it's not a gimmick, so I agree. But the avg consumer doesn't know stats and might actually try taking it in 5-7 ft of water, use it while diving, or stuff like that and will damage their phones. Samsung had to get the interior protected even more because nobody liked their flap covers. The Xperia has them too, but not as poorly made.
I see what you're saying about intended use. But accidents do happen. Drops in water do happen. Nice to know it won't ruin my phone. But if used properly, it's not a gimmick, so I agree. Lol oh my! How do you use it after that?Yeah my friend drops his phone in the toilet too frequently. I keep on telling him not to use his device while on it, but never listens.
