Seriously you guys getting it sooo early .. It's just not fair :) but keep in mind to post your unboxings, and impressions and if you can share your pros and cons if there are any - those of us still waiting will appreciate it.

You like the screen mode on basic, right?

Didn't happen yesterday on a displayed S7 in a t-mobile store and the device was not in demo mode.

[doublepost=1456756842][/doublepost]For those using Samsung's VR for the first time, I think you'll be impressed with how good it looks. At work, we've been testing the more affordable VR headsets and Samsung so far has the best ones.

Yup, they sure will. And there's plenty of content, and soon to be plenty more.

Maybe I'll give Tmobile a shot, it's been about a year and maybe they've improved. What do you guys suggest in terms of my existing phones? I have my wife's iPhone 6 and my Note 5, both AT&T models and paid for fully. For it to be worth it to go to Tmobile they would have to take both of my phones and give me new Tmobile variants WITHOUT a payment plan. Would they do this? Or just give me a couple hundred trade in? I'd be surprised if they are willing to pay $650 to let you break a contract, but they won't do it if you aren't in a contract or payment plan.

I'm kind of irked at no expandable memory on my Note 5 and was thinking the S7 edge might be nice until the Note 6 comes out. I've encountered some things which require external memory these past few days.

No other way as far as I know but just the trade in amount and you would get wallet raped. I am in the same boat as you and certainly would not do it, would have to sell it myself.

I switched from ATT to TMO and I do see a slight drop-off. It doesn't bother me (yet) because I'm mostly in the city but when I did go out to the Everglades, I lost signal while I believe ATT still had a bar or two.

Bleh, they are saying $251 for my Note 5 and $221 for my wife's iPhone 6. It's not worth it to start a payment plan when the phones are paid off. I'm surprised don't carriers usually have a hefty bonus for switching lines to them?

Why not just sell them on swappa or craigslist? Every company gives you horrible trade in prices so that's to be expected.

When it comes to TMo you need to look and see where Band 12 has been activated and you need to get phones with Band 12. Band 12 is the lower freq 700mhz spectrum which means getting signal further away from towers and better building penetration. TMo has been working round the clock to turn this spectrum on throughout the US and it makes a huge difference in signal reception. Only phones I know with Band 12 that TMo sells are the LG V10, iPhone 6s variants and Samsung S6/S7 variants and the Note 5.

Note 5 goes for around $500 on swappa and iPhone 6 over $400.

You can get those phones unlocked and keep using them on t-mo. Just fill out the form here.
https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/

Does Tmobile wifi calling work on an unlocked ATT phone? I think it might on my wifes iPhone because from what I understand all GSM iphones are the same. But I don't think it will work with my Note 5 as there are no wifi calling options on it.

I think I'll just sit tight anyhow, doesn't seem worth it. The plans end up being a bit more expensive than my ATT plans.

It's working on my iPhone, still haven't got my unlock code for my Note, but I'll test it when I do. Probably won't since it has the AT&T firmware, might have to wait for the marshmallow update, but we'll see.

Yeah, not sure what to do yet. Just got a sim with t-mo service that I'll use this week to test. Pricing is about the same, but on t-mo I would have unlimited data and one line on JoD. Not sure if it's worth it though, would have to unlock and port 10 devices plus 5 backup devices.
