Question regarding always on screen features...

Any app out there that mimics what Moto X does? Lights up when you pick up the device and has action-able notifications?
There is (or was) a copy cat app called active display 2 or some such. Originally it was very much a copy of moto, however they got served legalities and then changed the look and function dramatically so it no longer looks the same at all.

not a fan of the curve screen.
I like it myself.

One other thing, I've kept at adaptive screen rather than basic and I am looking the white point on the S7 edge compared to my nexus 6P and X Force. It's much more neutral rather than yellow tinted. However stepping to Basic mode, they have adjusted the white point and that introduces a touch of yellowing, so hence I'm sticking this time round to adaptive.

Any that take advantage of the AMOLED? So that it lights only certain pixels?

I really like AcDisplay. I am sure it is not as efficient as built in, but it is only black and white and has nice features:

Yep that's the one I meant.

Re: aggressive ram test.

Well uploading my own very quick multitasking video now ...

Will it get beyond the 8-9 on the Note 5 and 5-6 on the original Edge. Will it be viable for me ????

Video uploading to YouTube now. You'll soon find out ....

I don't know if you guys heard but starting Friday it will be BOGO free on s7 on T-Mobile.

m.pocketnow.com/2016/03/07/bogo-galaxy-s7

I called customer service and they said that guys with their phones will most likely need to return them, and buy again. Good news is you can have one phone on JOD, and will be reimbursed for the other. You need to activate a new line of service. I am covered since I have a extra sim I just turned on, but doing T-Mobile is no contract so, you could probably just cancel after a few months and get a second S7 for peanuts.

This is going to lead to me being absolutely ridiculous and owning a G5 6s+ and S7e simultaneously for only $32 per month lol.
Bogo doesn't work that way. You get billed for the equipment and then get a credit. You have to keep service for the installment term. If you cancel, you're responsible for the entire cost of the phone.

It will also need it's own data plan.

Aggressive Ram test .....

So I started with 11 apps opened. After switching between them, I continued to open 2 more.

13 total apps jumping back and forth and no refreshing on me thank goodness.

Didn't push more apps, and I didn't try games as I don't game on it, but confident it won't be a problem for me this year thank heavens.

So yeah. Samsung have definitely improved in this area this year. :)

Just requested my unlock code from my carrier. As soon as I have it unlocked I will be flashing the official unbranded uk/Ireland firmware via ODIN. :)

Oh and it's single sim and Micro SD only. There is no dual sim on this handset for those in Europe wondering.

These are winning devices. As predicted, the real star is the Edge.

Kind of known that with my initial impressions when I first got a look at these at BB when they were on display day 1.

And I keep advising folks to stay away from retailers and carriers to check them out if you really just want to browse and do a look see.

Resistance is futile. :)

She has arrived.

EDIT: Especially tailored to AMOLED screens to conserve battery...

It has that always-on display that nobody's deactivated, but that can only do so much.

Yeah, exactly. In my opinion, it's kind of useless without more functionality and opening it up to 3rd party/Google apps.

Darn shame. I will be turning it off when I get my Edge.
[doublepost=1457457108][/doublepost]For those who don't need insane read/write speeds, great deal on a 128GB Samsung microSD card. The Evo series (not EVO Plus).

Anyone on t-mobile have lte and WiFi showing up together? My phone has that. I had to do two factory resets. Comes and goes. It's weird. I had to reset my phone the first time since my phone app crashed and I reset my package disabler but still no help. Yeesh. My phone has been acting up with texting issues too.

That usually happens to me with poor or no internet service from the wifi signal.

Or could be download booster, but I don't see the dowbload booster icon on your status bar.

Or just maybe, because you have wifi calling preferred?

That could explain why. Download booster is off. Wi-Fi calling is preferred.

Can't believe it it's a Duos dual sim version :D

I had asked so many questions on this with negative feedback from Samsung ME etc I thought I would have to use the single till the dual came out in a couple of months
