What about rebooting.Alright, so my Gevey SIM came today via USPS.
It was a bit troublesome because I had to cut a bit of the microsim card. After than I popped it in, and followed the procedure. It didn't work, then I followed the steps 2 more times and decided to take out the sim tray and center it again.
After aligning the micro sim to the tray perfectly, I popped it in and followed the steps. It said "searching..." for a long minute and then T-Mobile appeared with 5 bars. I called my home phone and it worked marvelously. I also respringed to see if the unlock would remain and it did. I then meddled with the 'data roaming' feature and had to follow the steps again.
Besides that, it's been 2 hours already and it's working perfectly.
No. I am complaining about the fact that they feed the hype (teling lies) for 6 month and they failed to deliver.
Can't you read?
FYI, it seems the price is falling fast. You can find for $50 shipped on ebay now from U.S sellers...just paid $70 yesterday.![]()
The ones that are selling for $50 are all fakes.
The question is does this work?
Gevey sim made in china as for this one. So, what is the different?
The difference is that it's a fake. It's not made by Gevey. AS for if it works or not I have no idea cause I don't have it.
Does Gevey has trade mark or patent pending on this? If not, I think it is a fair game.
FYI, respring and reboot are two different things.
@jdminpdx
With respring you don't have to do the steps again but with a reboot you do.

Sunsky SmartSIM works for iOS 4.3 and iOS 4.3.1?
Thanks!
It seems that the Gevey sim is now selling for $40 shipped from some China sellers and $45 from US sellers. I think I'm going to wait till next week, as the price might go down some more.
Either way, when the Dev team unlock comes out, I'm definitely going to switch to that instead using this unlock method. Although, I think this is a good temporary unlock solution and will hopefully overcome any ultrasn0w blocking that Apple comes up with. Is it possible that Apple can come up with a software based method to block the Gevey unlock?
