I just spoke to the head of the Google sales department and he indeed told me that your phone will be getting delivered first... I emphasized how we all rely here on your input with new phones and he was more than glad to bump up your delivery and release the phone tomorrow... I also told him that I would cancel my Best buy order even though I'm getting the best trade-in and order through them just so I can sacrifice for you receiving the phone early... Best of luck

There is a 30w charger in the Google store for $25. That'll work.
Or you can get a similar 30w Belkin charger at Walmart. It may be cheaper or not. Just make sure it is type C like the Google charger.
Wow Bay does look stunning. I need 512GB so went for Obsidian but I love the way the blue has different shades depending on the light.
US buyers got spoilt for sizes this year vs us in the UK.

That Hazel leather for the 8 looks great! I went for the standard black leather for my 8 Pro. First experience with Bellroy. I'm actually waiting for a decent third-party brown leather that will have good patina overtime.

It's more the battery life for me, if it's not as good as my iPhone 14 Pro Max, then it's a no go.
The thing is, you’re never going to get the answer to that from a YT video. How you use your 14 PM is not how these YT’ers do.
The only person who will be able to test that is you. It goes back to what I’ve said about 3 billion times in the last week. Try it for yourself, return it if not for you. 😁.
That’s just my advice btw, not me telling you what to do. I get you wanting to get some impressions of it to make an informed decision, but it’s rare these YTers will give you anything useful as they need to stay in favour with these companies to keep receiving review devices.
The only ones who do give their (questionable) opinion are the clickbaters who buy the phones themselves and then review them “Pixel 8 Pro - I WAS WRONG!” or “Pixel 8 Pro - THE TRUTH” or “Pixel 8 Pro has TERRIBLE BATTERY” (with thumbnail of the someone with their head in their hands) etc.
But ultimately only you can really see if the battery will match your iPhone based on your usages. Or, you might find you can allow a lesser battery because of the benefits the phone gives you in other areas.
Yeah, that is why I nearly didn't order one. I've gone with decent user reviews & will buy a magsafe case elsewhere.
I have thought about buying it as well as a cheaper magsafe case but I don't know if I will be bothered to keep swapping. 😆
