I ordered mine within 10 minutes of the order window opening, and my order was changed to priority. Not sure your logic works.
Thats wishful thinking. I bet they drop ship them from China just like the Wi-fi only model. My Wi-fi model was shipped International Priority via UPS.
About order the iPad later? I think he means LATER, as in a couple weeks. Just like the people who did not pre-order their iPads and got them shipped the 12th. I also order my 64GB on the first pre-order day.
I doubt it. My accessories have all been delivered about a week ago and mine still says 2-3 day. I'm not worried about it, though. I'm sure they'll all get shipped out using the same method anyway. More importantly, however, is that they actual ship by the end of the month as promised!
EDIT: Nevermind, I lied! I just checked again this morning, and now mine says Priority as well....
Ordered mine this morning; not surprisingly it's showing Standard Shipping at the moment. If we get some sort of shipping date announcement and it looks like those of us late to the pre-order party aren't getting ours day one, I may cancel my order and line up instead. I won't be able to stand waiting anymore once my friend gets his (his wife pre-ordered his first thing).
When did you order yours? I ordered mine 3/12 9:13 pm PDT. But it still says 2-3 days. But my last accessory comes today. Then all I am waiting for it the iPad 3g 64 GB.
Oops: Just checked again, and now mine does say Priority. Cool.!!!!
I doubt they would come that quick. They are not even in Prepared for Shipment mode yet, so there is no way they would arrive that fast. However that said, They could be here by end of next week at the earliest I would say.
Meaning that they could be in our Hot Little Hands by Friday April 23rd. I don't think we will see another Saturday delivery as that had to be quite expensive for them to do a large Saturday Delivery last time for the Wi-Fi versions.
Either way it does appear that we will get them now for sure before or at least on April 30,2010. Hopefully sooner.
Ok, all last night and this morning it stayed "Some via U.S. Postal" and 5 min ago it changed to Priority. I leave Monday the 26th on a business trip and I was really hoping to have it for the trip since that was one of the big reason I decided on an iPad, but I am not holding my breath.

I did notice however that my Apple Care I ordered at the same time just showed up this morning as a pending charge to my bank...
Any connection?????
(of course it also states that it (applecare) was ready to ship back on March 25th when I ordered it and my 3g...)

Priority on mine as well, though I really don't think this means anything. Ordered 4/15.
My case won't deliver until May 11
I'd rather have a case with no iPad, than an iPad I'm afraid to take outside for lack of a case.
What it means is we are insured to get it by April 30th or earlier.
That status won't change until maybe early next week we may see a date change on when it will be delivery.
You probably won't see any pending charges until sometime next week at the earliest.
the applecare charge showed up this morning. my credit card is sitting in the bottom of a filing cabinet at home. I haven't used it at all, so I'm %100 certain it's for the applecare.

I ordered a 64GB 3g iPad on day one and I have had funds held on my credit card since the week before the wifi model shipped out! Not a a charge on the card, but funds that are not available for me to use.
