Still Not Working

I am so lost. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS beta 4 and late 2013 MBP with OS X Yosemite public beta. Both are signed in to my iCloud account and both face times are signed in to my iCloud accounts, but nothing is working. Handoff is not working, nor is calling through my MBP. I also cannot connect my MBP to my iPhone, does ANYONE know how to fix this?
Thanks

Try signing out on both devices, reboot them and sign back in using exactly the same details and make sure to turn everything on!

After months of trying to get Handoff and Continuity too work.. I finally cracked it....

All my devises are signed into iCloud using @me.com
It's never caused me any lack of iCloud services in the past. I assumed @me.com is the same as @icloud.com

Once I've signed my iMac and iPhone out of @me.com and re-signed in to @icloud.com they all worked.

Do you mean you can also send SMS messages from your Mac? Are you on the DP or public beta?

Sign out of iCloud and back in on both devices, and make sure you use the iCloud login (username@icloud.com), not AppleID login (username@whatever_your_isp_is.com).

In other services iCloud and AppleID are interchangeable, but Handoff seems to require the iCloud username to work.

Not true. I got it to work signed into @gmail so it works as long as it's signed in the same

I had the same logins on all devices, and was able to make and receive calls from Yosemite, but Handoff only started working once I changed the logins. I had signed out and back in several times, and tried every trick I could find in this thread, but only changing the logins to iCloud.com fixed Handoff.

Others have noticed the same. So while some users might not be affected, it's still worth a try, if nothing else has worked.

I still have problems. I have a Late-2012 mac mini and an iPhone 4s, bluetooth is activated on both devices, one is connected by ethernet, the other by Wifi, I use an @icloud account and I can't make handoff work. I tried everything. I'm running the public beta mac os x yosemite and iOS 8 beta 4.

Also, I cannot find "activate handoff" on my iPhone in "Setting -> General"

thanks to help me!

Try going to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggestes Apps (below Siri), that's where I found mine

As person above said, Handoff isn't on the 4S . I have a 4S too and not happy at all

Beta 5 is out on Monday (US Time), Tuesday (AU time for me). I'm hoping they put it back, otherwise they have quite a population of iPhone 4s' and Macs that can run Yosemite at a bit of a risk.

Help?

Hi I have followed the guide and it worked, mostly.

mid 2012 mbp retina and iphone 5 updated to latest os betas, time machine wifi.

My issues, I can receive texts, but sms I send (and are reported as sent on mbp) are not received and do not show up on iphone messages. I can receive and send phone calls, but my audio is not being transmitted, as if I am on mute.

Any suggestions?

Also, when making phone calls on mac, does the phone screen appear on your iphone or does it stay on lock screen? I have no green return to phone call bar while I am on the phone and people say hello? are you there?

This has been a bug with the PB. Send a report using feedback assistant. Hopefully it is working again in the next update.

Macbook Air Mid 2011

I've scoured the internet and boards to see why my Macbook Mid 2011 doesn't have the Handoff feature and could really use some help. From what I've read most people with Mid 2011 airs are at least able to see the option to enable Handoff in Settings > General but mine doesn't even have that feature. I've followed everything that I could get my hands on and followed the instructions verbatim here, as well as other sources. Would anyone know why I wouldn't have the option to toggle Handoff in settings?

I uploaded two screenshots for specifics but any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Working in one direction..

i have an iPhone 5 running iOS 8 Beta 4 and OS X 10.10 DP 4
when i open safari, mail, calendar, contacts in my Mac (Macbook air 2012) my iPhone recognizes the app and continuity/HandOff works great..

But when i open safari, mail, calendar, contacts on my iPhone, the Mac doesn't popup the app icon in the Dock, like it doesn't recognize it

Does anyone is having the same problem? Continuity/Handoff is only working in one direction for me :(
