Tried it on and it felt uncomfortable, too much material. I think it looks good on long thin arms and small wrists as the double tour gives off the look of girth.

I held this $200 etain I’ll be giving to my mom as a gift against my arm and my arm hair just kinda killed the elegance lol. But then again black would be a different story and I’m sure my brain would adjust to the slight gender bend vibes.

Also noticed that the wrist size shown for this 44mm double tour is 145-170mm, which is smaller than the 44mm single tour at 165-195mm
Yeah I think I’m actually right at 170 because I’m pretty much in the middle with the large modern buckle (160-180mm)...but I don’t think there will be enough of these sold to bring aftermarket prices down to where I invest in a third fauve product.
Still, props to Hermes for doing a grip of new colors AND putting evergreen colors on slightly stale evergreen side product lines. I’ve just installed my marine eperon and it looks so good with the navy second hand from the GM. Marine = navy, right? The hero shots look close enough, accounting for swift vs gala. Pic tomorrow in the sunlight...
Has anyone series 6 gone to preparing to ship?? My ship dates are 9-30 to 10-7 for single tour 44mm SBSS noir.
I had ordered the deployment clasp and then I changed my mind because I didn’t want the stainless steel, I wanted the space black stainless steel again like on my Series 5. Because I ordered later in the day on 9/15, my ship date got moved to 9/30 to 10/7. So I just ordered the deployment clasp separately. I really love the SBSS and couldn’t see myself going back to the SS.
Just was wondering what everyone’s ship dates are and if you guys think that they may ship earlier than intended. I really hope so!!

Easily my desert island Hermes. Love the eperon scarf motif too much.
One of my favorite bands, and one of the most durable, too. It was my daily driver for nearly 2 years. I still have it and cleaned it up recently. After a year with the Space Black I’m switching back to the silver stainless steel.
I ordered a Series 6 Space Black that shipped today and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. But I will probably return it, since I like the Rouge Piment band and ordered that model, which is supposed to arrive 9/25-9/29. Too bad they don’t offer more band choices with the black connector.

The funny thing is that I've never really used the Hermes faces all that often, mostly because they don't allow complications (which I've come to rely love and use). So of course now the new Hermes face allows complications, and I LOVE it. When my graphite SS arrives, unless I *really* like the look of it, I'll return it for the Hermes SBSS...

My employer gives us access to the Apple EPP program but I'm not seeing any discount on the Hermes bands. They're showing up as $340 for me.
Ok. Good to know you need to be in Apple’s own EPP to get any discount at all. I consider myself beyond lucky.
