Same!I just got through two work days on one charge, so I’m a bit shocked. I’m not used to having great battery life.
currently
4 hours, 46 mins usage
8 hours standby
76% left
Interesting because I’m at 75%:
2 hours, 7 minutes usage
3 hours, 53 minutes standby
You basically have more than double my usage AND standby times yet you have slightly more battery left than me. Something isn’t right.
You sure you’re not actually on 8+? /sIt ended on
13 hours usage
22 hours standby
I‘m actually a litte disappointed with my battery life of my iPhone X.
I thought with the battery capacity near to the 8 Plus and an OLED Screen it would at least as long as my 8+.
With my 7 Plus i usually got
~ 6-8 h Usage Time
~ 15-20h Standby
With my 8 Plus i got:
~ 10-13h Usage
~25-35 Standby
(Even the first complete Cycle lasted over 10h Usage Time).
With my X i get:
~6-9h Usage Time
~ 15-20 Standby
At the Moment i have 52% left and
4h 35Min. Usage
9h Standby
The installed and frequently used Apps are the same as i always make a encrypted (is this the correct word for making a ITunes Backup which is locked with a password?) Backup and restore my New iPhone with this Backup.
Maybe its worth a try to reset the iPhone and try it with the iCloud Backup?
I‘ll wait a few days and think about it ..
Edit: Configuration was always the same, everything like Background refresh, Bluetooth, WiFi, Location Service is on. My Apple Watch is paired all day.
No low Power Mode is used and 8+ and X had TrueTone activated.
Listening to music counts as usage, as does a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't necessarily require the screen being on. This isn't like Android where you can get a screen on time.Interesting because I’m at 75%:

Mine is like yours. Not good at all. Having to charge 2 per day. Hoping it’s just background stuff for now. But I went plus in the past for the battery life. Hate seeing the battery drain so quickly. Am used to all day plus batteryInteresting because I’m at 75%:

Didn’t your 7 Plus last longer on iOS 10?
I’d try restoring your X and setting it up as new. That gives you a cleam phone.

I essentially have the same battery life as you guys mentioned. Haven't changed any of my usage patterns coming from an iPhone 7 Plus but I don't like having to charge it already by 7pm. Maybe I'll give it a few more days and observe if it gets better.
Lol no luckily not.
Battery life is absolutely amazing - my iPhone 7 Plus had 6 hours usage before it died and using my iPhone X the exact same way (youtube, safari, Reddit, Facebook, messing with the camera and Animoji for an hour or so) I’m getting about 13 hours usage sometimes more, I’ve never ever had battery life this good on N iPhone before.
I have my wallpapers black and Reddit in night mode so maybe it’s not using as much power as most of the screen is black?
Just curious, did you restore from a backup?
Same here, I had a 7+ that would last all day, even my S8+ would last all day but the X is dead by 6PM...Just to chime in - I’m getting same crap battery life as these guys. 7.5 hours and it’s dead, doesn’t last all day. I set up as new phone and did not restore from a backup.
Maybe TrueTone makes a difference.

Just curious, but which carrier model do you have?
