As you can see, the photos taken after the update appear do appear to be slightly better. The dreamy like haze that photos suffered from is now gone, with what appears to be slightly better dynamic range when shooting outdoors. It’s not a huge upgrade, but any improvements are always welcomed, no matter how small.

The saddest part is that with most reviews already in the books, most of the damage has already been done. Despite the 10 offering the best camera we’ve seen on an HTC device to date, most people will dismiss this because it’s simply not “the best.”

Messing with RAW today. Very cool and Snapseed has also been updated to support raw editing.

Well the wheels are in motion a bit. I ordered the Pro Studio earphones from HTC so should have them by the end of the week.

You guys like the camera in smartphones, I like the audio output. MRU listening extensively sold me on the earphones and the smartphone, I have listened to the A9 alot in an AT&T store and it is very good as well.

Is there any reason to get the Tmo version versus the unlocked version from HTC? Like, are there specific bands that the Tmo version will have that the unlocked version won't?

I guess there's WiFi calling? Anything else important?

No.

The unlocked model supports wifi calling and VOLTE.

Essentially the same phone, but without t mobile bloat and faster updates.

The unlocked version is still $100 off, has uh-oh protection, no bloat, faster updates.

The tmobile version will be a bit more expensive, and come with a rapid charge plus ice view case. The biggest reason, and really the only reason to go with the Tmobile version is the JOD or EIP.

I went with the unlocked version...but who knows how long that will take to ship.

Ah, thanks! Good to know!

In this case, I would def. go for the unlocked version too. Then find my way out of JOD!

Crap, now I am regretting getting the graphite for some reason. I think I was just burned out on aluminum phones with the iphones. But the silver pops. They both look nice. Going to stick with it.

Got my shipping notification! Well not from HTC or Digital River. They seem to have a slow to update process. But FedEx notified me. Sometimes these come from California so it is not worth paying the extra shipping fees. So I went ground. But it is coming from Indiana. So not here until Tuesday.... oh well.

I live in Indiana haha...

No word on mine yet. Carbon unlocked

Wait sorry it was yesterday I ordered. Lost track of the days. 8:00am PT from the HTC store. If you have FedEx delivery manager, they will notify you when they get a package for your address.

Well I ordered one. Despite some misgivings with HTC's pricing and no "UH OH"in Canada I have to admit I liked the HTC One M7 I had some years ago, both hardware and software-wise (except the camera), and I am excited to get the 10.
I think MRU somehow pushed me over the edge...

Surprise! I canceled my order from htc.com. Was assured it was canceled. But just now got shlpping notice it will be here tomorrow afternoon.

I continue to be very impressed with this camera. Most of my photo needs on a daily basis are of my kids, which means I need a reasonably fast camera. So far, I have yet to have this one fail me when needed. Couldn't say that about a lot of other devices. I'd solidly put it up there with my iPhone 6s+ and my S7.

Checked my CC this morning and it has not been charged. The email from HTC along with Fedex tracking says it will be delivered today by 430PM. I chose next day shipping when I ordered. I am still excited to get the phone! In the last week I have gone from the S7 to the Note 5 back to the S7 edge and now the HTC 10 will be here today.......It's like Christmas around here :)

This is killing me. Still no word on shipping. Just owning fulfillment.

If by some amazing happenstance, your cc doesn't get charged, I volunteer to take the free phone off your hands....so you can still jump and all....
