@MRU have you had an opportunity to install your tgsp yet? I know it can be hard to see the halo on a white faced device, but I'm curious how the fit is.

I haven't. At the moment I have a standard one on, the TPSP that came last week when I opened the packaging had already had a crack on it, so I emailed the crowd I bought it from and they have sent out a replacement. Should be here beginning of next week now.

I remember the m7 had those over exposure issues too. Really frustrating how things would get blown out.

Does the camera software patch address that issue for the 10?

Yeah that's just over exposure. Either slide the brightness on the auto-mode or use pro mode and change iso to 100
I tried that but couldn't find the brightness slider for auto mode.
But that defeats the purpose of point and shoot when out and about with your phone. The time it takes to make camera adjustments and you lost the shot.

In this example to choose options for earphones, where does one choose theater or music mode? I do not see it here or on the A9 on display at ATT.

Once I get this phone today, I'm just going to use it and not actively seek problems or run it side by side with the s7e.

The problems I run into with the edge surfaces during day to day use. Little things that compound and begin to irritate. Things that shouldn't be a problem....the iphone had its own quirks.

I'll be interested to see how the 10 holds up.

It should be right next to the tap to focus reticule ... same as on an iPhone

Samsung fanboys need to come down a notch or five. They are apple level around here sometimes. Especially when comparing two phones that are essentially the same.

Oh stop it. I am far from a Samsung fan boy as this is my first Samsung device in probably 4-5 years. Just having some fun in a different type of comparison versus the same boring conversations we see regurgitated all over this section of the forum.

That being said, maybe the S7E is a Tesla and the HTC 10 is a Nissan Leaf, better? :)

Internals are nice but the hardware and design was what I was discussing more so as the camera and screen on the HTC10 can't hold a lick to the S7E.

Have some fun will ya.

Did you not see the video I posted?? totally having fun. I love that video. And that car does remind me of Sasmung. Sexy but impractical, awful software, clunky ride, and a pen holder as well!! It is perfect!

Well I sent those edges on the s7e packing in favor of the Note 5.

We will see if I send the Note 5 packing in favor of the HTC 10. I have to figure a way using jump with T-Mobile not to lose the Note 5 in case I rather have it than the 10.

Just got the Pro Studio earphones delivered, going to do some listening at an ATT store on the A9 to see how I feel about them on that smartphone and then on my Note 5 and then on the Moto X Pure.

That looks nice!
Here is another one...

The iPhone and M10 look like a sleek black slab. The logo ruins it on the S7 imo. But the logo is less noticeable on the chrome S7 edge in the previous picture.

Wow the 10 looks huge compared to the S7, even though the screen is 0.06 inches bigger. Plus, I still kind of think the S7 looks nicer. Get rid of the logo and it would be perfect.
