Will do, I'll post some benchmarks when the card gets here and we can decide how worthwhile it is.
I like the idea but my first experience wasn't good so far. We'll see what this new card brings. It's slated to arrive Tuesday so I'll do a speed test on my PC, then just standard in the phone and then with adoptable storage format. We can compare to what the internal is doing as well. Not sure if that's the most scientific but hey it's a start.I'm not so sure the write speed will be on par with the internal, but it may not be felt much. I'm a bit scared of adoptable myself, but curious!

Could have sworn I've read it works great for low end phones, but their external is probably faster than the internal nand
I wonder if something is up with HTC specifically?
Did the camera update add 60fps 1080p video by any chance?
There is, when I first was researching the HTC 10 I found this article about it's storage performance.

It's pretty good
I think it all depends on the reader in the phone. I don't think I've ever seen the theoretical speeds reached on a phone.I wonder if the SDXC IIs take a hit or not. Their theoretical speeds are the same or higher than the internal read and write speeds. If not then I'll just return the 1800x I bought. I'll try it out first of course.
MRU great pics as always! We're these edited at all? I can't get my pics no matter whar the camera to look like yours!
Yeah, I remember when he posted some pictures he took with the Moto X and there was no way I could get anything close to those pictures with mine. Witchcraft I say.MRU great pics as always! We're these edited at all? I can't get my pics no matter whar the camera to look like yours!

My battery seems to have settled down after a few days usage. Now getting around 4-5 hours SOT.
Here 4.5 SOT with 10% left. Not too bad for a 3,000mah battery i guess.
What specific settings do you use? Google location services, push notifications (Gmail, ESPN,etc), wifi calling, etc. I used only had the phone for a day so I haven't judged the battery yet; but I never achieve more than 2 tob3 hours sot. My edge was lucky to hit 2.5 (snap 820).
What about location services and etc?I have gmail syncing 3 email accounts.
I don't use ESPN at all. There is no wifi calling here. Only notifications would be from social media (Facebook / messenger / Skype) , fitness (myzone / fitbit) and shopping (adverts.ie / Amazon / eBay etc)
In the first couple of days Battery was iffy and slowly it seems to have come around.
That 4.5 SOT included taking photos, YouTube, Tapatalk, Chrome, listening to and downloading music on PlayMusic.
Brightness is set to auto with slider at around 70%
No power saving. Wifi mostly but with a good hour or so streaming music via 4G/LTE
Location set to battery saver mode and Google Location History (always the biggest killer and cause of wakelocks) turned off. What about location services and etc?
