Here are my thoughts on the leak:

-If they're not going to put a speaker grill on the bottom bezel, at least make the receiver a speaker. Better one front-facing than one (or two for that matter) downward facing speakers.
-It looks like they're finally getting rid of the HTC front logo. Joy to the world!
-Hoping that they bring back capacitive buttons.
-Power button still to low. Just put the volume buttons on the left FCOL.
-Front camera too big
-Bezels still too big. At least they're making a round home button though. I dislike the pill of my Galaxy.

Agree...the oblong home button on my N5 has got to go.....put the dang thing on the screen.

Doesn't look better than the S7, or S6 for that matter. This is probably not the "hero" device that will save HTC (in my opinion), unless it has some sort of killer feature.

I like the fact that it's a physical button, just don't like the shape, because it's not an ideal shape at all for a fingerprint scanner. But I believe all fingerprint scanners on phones have compromises so far.
Now a fingerprint scanner on the screen...that would be awesome. Just don't like software buttons.

On the software side, the phone is said to come with HTC's Sense 7 UI, built on top of Android 6.0.1, with a Sense 8 update coming shortly after launch.

Strange that it's launching with the old Sense 7, and then being updated later to the brand new Sense 8.

Very weird.

And as it's been stated by everybody, they can't afford any foul ups. They really need to get this launch together properly.

HTC must be in a hurry to get this device out and the new software isn't ready. HTC needs to get it together...hire more on their software team or something. They should be launching your flagship with their latest software. They have no room for mess up.

Rushing it now, right when we're expecting not only Samsung but LG to unveil and launch their handsets is marketing suicide. They haven't got the resources to go up against the marketing muscle of either of those two ...

If Samsung truly has software figured out, I don't see how HTC can compete at the same price with what we've seen in the leaks. They better have something up their sleeves.

Absolutely agree. HTC needs to get this release spot on as damn near perfect and without a hitch.

Plus they'd be better off releasing in that dead zone time, which would be after the big S7 / G5 launch this March, and before the big iPhone 7 / Note 6, Nexus-N launch in September. Which would put that dead zone around early June, which would allow the S7 hype to die down a bit, and still too early for the iPhone 7 release.

IMO HTC should announce the One M10 in May, and release in June.

Agree totally with the time frame. however I don't think HTC are listening to common sense.

Especially if the rumors are true of the M10 launching with the current Sense 7, and to be updated to the all new Sense 8 a couple months later. WTF ?

It never matters, their devices don't sell that much regardless.

Unlike like us here who turn over devices or pick up multiple smartphones, the general Joe/Jane public is going to go after the Samsungs versus the M10.

I've actually noticed quite a few of people I know recently either having the M9 or moreover the M8s. I think there must be lots of free deals with the HTC phones recently with carriers because in last couple of weeks alone I've seen 6 and they had various phones from different oem's prior.

They certainly aren't bad smartphones, on the cheap makes them an even better buy but you will never see many folks flock to them on release day versus others.

Agreed. It just took me by surprise when I began noticing folks using them rather than Sasmung or Apple devices.

New leaked image gives us our first look at the HTC One M10 in white

http://www.androidauthority.com/htc-one-m10-leak-in-white-674261/

That's seriously the new M10 ? WTF HTC ? That doesn't look like the M7, M8, or M9 one bit. Looks like a cheap Samsung clone. Wow HTC extremely disappointed, they are capable of so much better, not copy cats.
[doublepost=1455840293][/doublepost]I am actually completely shocked here, like no way would I have expected HTC to release the "Galaxy One S10". I was worried the One M10 would be an iPhone 6S clone, never thinking it would be the Samsung Galaxy clone, wow. That Samsung looking home button is pathetic, never liked it on any of the Galaxy phones, much prefer Android phones with no front buttons at all, the clean look of Nexus phones or the HTC One M series.

Very true. Looks like HTC is brining nothing new to the table, at a time when they desperately need it.

Another year, another disappointment from HTC. Can't say I was shocked to see that leaked device. They went from being the benchmark in design to shamelessly copying everyone else.

Well said. All I want to know now is whether the M10 will be a bigger disappointment than the M9 was.

This phone looks like a Galaxy S6 that will be running Sense not Touchwiz.

Sorry HTC, you made some historic devices, like the HD2, Nexus-One, EVO 4G, One X, M7 / M8, sad to see you go away after this disaster release.

Hard to believe HTC was once the king of the Android world, right? Looks like LG will be the only one left that can challenge Samsung (in the high-end).
