Of course you will!
HTC is in a bit of a place where it just can't win. People wanted it to get rid of its bezels, put in capacitive buttons with finger print reader that also works as home button. It does all that, but has to therefore relocate bottom speaker as there is no longer a big chin.
The M10 is like the product of appeasing everyone's complaints and yet then ending up with something that underwhelms generally aesthetically.
The 2800mah rumored battery is a massive increase on the original 1800mah the M7 launched with, but people are still unhappy because others have put bigger in their flagships. So again they can't cut a break.
I hope it does better than most of us think it will do, just because it will be sad to see a retraction in competition in our devices.
I have a seen a healthy amount of M8Ses and A9's over the last few months though, so maybe average Joe Soap isn't as critical or complaining as much as we do here.
That is impressive. Some benchmarks. Scores higher than the edge, and I think even than the iPhone.

My interest is starting to percolate again for this device. And I guess I'm slowly coming around to the extreme chamfered design (it's still obnoxiously too large truthfully).
The hype is starting to spark just a bit...
But what could they possibly offer to you that'll outshine the Galaxy S7? I'd wager any amount of money that it won't match the size, ergonomics, display, or camera of the S7. With the all metal rear panel, it won't offer wireless charging. And while I enjoyed Sense enough on my M7, it was showing it's age on the M9.
I know some really like having a superior quality loudspeaker(s) (still unconfirmed if it will continue to offer boom sound) and prefer a metal body vs. glass but I can't see this being a superior device to the S7 in just about any way.

No question it'll have a tough hill to climb if it's gonna beat out the S7 Edge. Still, as a tech enthusiast, I want to see HTC succeed.
Then you and your many friends that you hopefully have had better buy one.
I hope the M10 is way better than the G5, or Samsung won't have any real competition in the Android world. Only real competition is Apple, but that's with iOS.
I love Android, but I would really, really like to try something else aside from Samsung. I've had the S3, S5, S6, Note 4 and G2. G2 is the only phone not from Samsung, but had to return it because it had issues with GPS and antenna signal. Loved the phone otherwise: screen was perfect, size was perfect, battery life has been the greatest I've ever seen, nice UI, had doubletaptowake, etc.

Can they pull it off without the front facing speakers?? Getting pretty excited for this reveal next week.
They're probably going to try to convince us that bottom facing speakers are better.
