Apple means the effects where you can send messages that jump, invisible ink, etc. The full screen effects are the ones where if you type Congratulations a confetti shower drops.

how does one invoke them anyhow? i only see the drawing, heart thing and a a store

Hm, I have two-factor authentication enabled, but the "Allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac" is not present under Security and Privacy. Also, I'm able to enable "Anywhere" under "Allow apps downloaded from", which seems to be removed for everyone else?

So it doesn't look like this?

As for the Gatekeeper setting you mention, yes it's gone. You can still run any software by right/option clicking and choosing Open. Nothing has been taken away.

Can individual apps be updated from the App Store? It would be a bummer of the new keyboard sound was gone I rather liked that a lot.

Well here goes :D

Sierra beta 2 on 2015 rMB, beta 2 on SE, and 12.9 soon

Must have missed this but glad iOS 10 brought hey Siri to 12.9, even if I never really use it/care. Was weak when 9.7 got it

SE on iOS 10 beta 1 has been the smoothest experience of the first run across all those devices so I'm optimistic

System/built-in apps? No.

Edit: Oh wait, you mean the problem some were having where they had to hit "Update All", right? I never had that issue so unfortunately can't say if it's changed.

Personally no bugs discovered here. Pressing home looks like a new animation but other than that pretty pleased with stability and the features. I HATED the large font in AM but looks like Apple has toned it down "some". Looks much better.

Will report back if finding anything but pretty solid for now! Still not on my daily driver but honestly could be. Gotta update my iPad when I get home to see how it runs there.

Alright, caving. Testing the waters on my Air 2 before I consider my 6s.

Anyone running B2 and Real Racing? Does it still work? I know it worked with B1.

SN: I actually preferred the NC setup in B1. On the home screen it meant that NC was simply that and all of your widgets exist in Spotlight but when in any app you could just access both via swipe down. Hopefully they bring that back in B3

Don't have Real Racing installed. CSR 2 had no sound on b1 and still has no sound on b2

go for it
no noticeable issues on my iPhone 6s plus
My biggest fear on my 6s isn't bugs, but Apple watch and my activity streak. I've been busting my a$$ for months now. Don't want it wiped out. I can tolerate inconveniences but losing this data would be heartbreaking.

When you swipe to widget view on the lock screen it keeps the lock screen time & date at the top. Was it like that in b1? Can't remember

Are you running WatchOS 3 or 2.2.1? I wonder how updating to 2.2.2 when released this month will affect iOS 10 iPhone users.

Ability to choose a different default mail client is back in Mail.app preferences. It still forgets my SMTP settings for my IMAP mail account.

Watch OS 3
Okay thanks. I will see how things are on my iPad for a day or two before I considering my iPhone. I planned on upgrading my iPhone when PB is out because that 'means' its 'more' stable. We shall see. Its the WatchOS 3 that i would have a hard time doing because no downgrade available.
