That does not seem to be the case as nobody knows what Pangu is up to anyway.
He ran into trouble with 10.1.1 and is half solving it, in the process he is half JBing 10.2.

Now everybody is scattered over different iOS versions, Saurik was already complaining about that and it is a hassle with Cydia.

Usually I am pretty mild especially concerning devs as they work hard and mostly for free, but this time it seems it is all messed up and getting worse.

Better for Luca to stop the development now and not release anything until a stable JB, I f I was him I would go solely for 10.2 and skip 10.1.1 altogether, better to focus all energy and time towards 1 single JB.

Hopefully the devs pull together to work something out in the background.

Luckily I stayed on 9.3.3 and have no drama....

Idk seems to me like he has exploits but he didn't want to burn them on 10.1.1 so by using those new exploits for the 10.2 jailbreak, he will be able to fix the 10.1.1. But that's all just speculation by me.

All this drama is sad. I had a 6S Plus on 9.3.3 JB, but I had to get a 7 Plus and have been with a jailbreak all this time. Maybe the next time around I won't buy a new phone until a jailbreak is available. I never seem to wait.
I won't buy another phone until a reliable/stable j/b is available. 7 Plus is my last gamble purchase.

well i updated 9.3.3 to 10.1.1 on my iphone in the hopes of this jb.. don't regret it much because watchos3 is sooo much better, but it would be nice if someone dropped a decent JB since the exploits are out there anyway

I Still have the 10.1.1 locked to my 7 plus BUT if IOS beta 3 hits with black background (Theater Mode) I am jumping on it, as from what I read on here, there will be no stable jailbreak, I think apple closed lots of holes and it's taking too long for anyone to figure out, then those are getting upset with the negative comments and are starting to give up.

I seen this same thing with Android phones that I had in the past also, half backed and nothing else ever comes out.

I do know 10.2 sucked big time with lots of problems for me, the main reason I switched back to 10.1.1 as my friend also is experiencing those same major glitches with his 7 plus on 10.2, then this news of jailbreak made me take the chance but with 10.3 black background I am there, as my eyes are getting worse by the year and need this badly.

Just my thoughts.

I highly doubt this "Theater mode" in iOS 10.3 is a true dark mode for the iPhone. Just because of the popcorn icon LOL. Why would Apple encourage people to use their phones in a movie theater ? That's one of the rudest and most disrespectful thing a person can do, is bring out their phone at the movies. Your phone should be left behind in your car or at least turned off and in your coat pocket while at the movies. There's zero excuse to have your phone out while at the show.

So don't be too bummed when there isn't a dark mode in iOS 10.3

I certainly did not mean to make you upset about what they call the mode, I certainly also get very upset when others use their phones during the show!! No one should ever use a phone during the movie at the Theater period. We both agree on that.
You certainly know why I want it and I am not updating unless I get confirmation that it is indeed what I am looking for.
I certainly hope a great jailbreak happens, at this point it may be for 10.3, who knows....
I certainly, very appreciate what those have done so far, especially for the lack of compensation they get if any.

I totally agree with you. I was lol'ing at how thus rumored spread fast.

I would love a dark mode baked into stock. But just like Android it was rumored to have a Dark setting for awhile, but Google never officially allowed it on stock.

But we'll see, the beta starts tomorrow ?

Can I get someones for free?

seconded haha but when stable comes along. for now beta 7 day side load is ok with me,

turns out UDID with provision cert/iOS app signer method will not work, like a paid spot to side load.

needs Cydia Impactor, which needs app+account specific password at the time of signing, and can't load a provision,

I disagree, a dark mode would be awesome. Ignoring the massive benefits it would have to use the phone in the dark/night not in a movie theatre, I'd also like the ability to quickly glance at my notification in a theatre. Sorry, but my phone can be a lifeline and if my kid has an emergency, or if my server at work melts down, I want to know about it immediately. If I will be on the phone more than half a second I will get up and walk out to do my business (although getting up in a movie theatre is IMO much more disruptive). Although with all that said, I've never been bothered by a phone in a theatre anyway. As long as it's kept in the lap I wouldn't even notice it was turned on in the first place. I don't disagree that it's rude, but if it's an emergency then it's necessary and a dark mode would be beneficial.

Sorry for the off topic, but it's slightly on topic because one of the last reasons I used to JB my phones was to get some sort of dark theme/mode. But last time I JB on ios9 none of the dark theme apps were ever regularly updated and one didn't work at all, the other worked with a ton of bugs (nightmode/eclipse). I paid money for them as well, but I just don't think there is any kind of sustainable market for these devs to create and update apps anymore.

It's a shame, because only Microsoft has done a dark/night mode right, or even at all. iOS/Google have squat for dark/night. Samsung has a decent dark theme, but doesn't resolve the issue of internet browsing which Microsoft solved. I still don't understand what's appealing about a white on off white theme, it's just an atrocious design decision.

I'm not arguing against a dark mode for iOS, I would love to see it become a stock option. It would be great.

My point was that iOS 10.3 will most likely not have this Dark mode included. You know the way Apple works, they make a big deal about adding any new features to iOS, so a Dark mode would be a pretty big deal, and I would think would be something they hold off and hype up for iOS 11.

I've had dark mode for 3 years. Best part about iOS 7 leap is that tweak haha

You are still on iOS7? I don't blame you, but that's too extreme for me. I like a lot of the iOS10 stuff.

Yeah I don't disagree, people are reading too much into this popcorn icon. Heck, it's probably just a new emoji, as it seems all Apple cares about putting manpower on are emojis.

No I guess I wasn't very clear.

Since leap from <ios6 including 6, the best part of this iOS 7 UI is a dark mode tweak called eclipse.

I'm on iOS 10.1.1 on 7+ and 9.3.3 SE

Gave SE a good two day spin recently bike riding and such with airpods. Feels like I have nothing on me! That SE is a little Beast a9 and 2gb powering a sub 720p screen lol

Yeah I paid for and have used Eclipse and Night mode. Eclipse in iOS9 JB was useless, but I quit the JB scene pretty early so I don't know if he ever updated it. He never responded to emails. Nightmode was updated and semi usable, but had so many bugs and issues it was a pita.

I'm doing some reading about Noctis, not sure if that's viable yet or not. All I want for JB is a sliding multi dock and dark theme, I'd be more than happy with those.

Noctis is awesome. I'm on first beta don't wanna update it quite yet cause an activator conflict and already have a weird activator bug so I don't want to rattle the nest haah

Dev was always responsive to me and not sure what u mean useless on iOS 9? I have eclipse on my SE and 9.7 pro it's perfect. Worked on 9.0.2 too

So I bought an unlocked CDMA 7plus and it came with 10.1.1 so I jailbroke it today. Other than the jailbreak itself being very broken, one issue I'm having is that my cellular data only has one "option". That is to either enable or disable data roaming. If I disable it, I get no data at all. If I enable it, it seems to work just fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Any update from Luca lately ? Still rocking my new 7 Plus on stock 10.1.1 hoping for the stable release soon

Or a miracle from the Chinese to release a stable 10.2.1 JB once Apple is done beta testing it
