I'm having issues downloading the profile from the beta site. I keep getting an error number.
Any experience with this?

I got the welcome and login to iCloud but not the location on 6s going from B1 to B2

That only effects double click so not sure what you mean unless oyu are talking fast when double clicking.

Is this regarding iP7 series only or other devices too?

[Edit]: Sounds jacked on 6s too. Just running a timer and all was well 1st two times then 3rd time I got the vibrate and extremely low volume. Come to think of it, I have missed a few calls and texts and just thought maybe I didnt hear it (clearly I didnt if the volume goes to almost nothing)

[Edit 2]: Interesting I just looked in settings>sound and the "ringer and alerts" slider was all the way down. Could this be changing on its own and that is the issue? As stated I am using the timer for 10 minute sessions this morning and the 3rd time was low. I didnt change any volume settings during this process. Anyone with this issue can you look at your settings and see if it went to min when the problem occurs?
The sound issue is what I care about most. Hope they don't make it so now a stereo iPhone 7 sounds low like a 6s

Beta 2 seems to have a bug where read/seen Messages doesn't clear the notification badge count, unless you force quit and re-open Messages on the message you need marked read.

You can now click on apps on the updated page in the App Store and it will take you directly to the app
The "Open" button? That's been there ages.

EDIT: I know what you mean now. You don't mean the app itself, you mean the dedicated page for that app.

It works fine in iOS 10.0.2 now as well--looks like Apple must have fixed whatever it was that broke it.

Thank God. I have been trying to do that for years.
It's been available for a long time, just broke for some reason for a few weeks recently.

I think iPad has pretty much always had somewhat different functionality related to that (and various other things related to App Store).

Apple just emailed me asking for system diagnostics in relation to the animation frame drops when clicking the home button so it appears that they are still working on the issue if they are asking for that information right ?

Has anyone noticed the icon of refresh to appear on contacts list ?
What icon are you referring to? Where exactly?

Looks like a single click shows the "Whats new" text then tap again takes you to the app description page. Old behavior was tap icon took to app page and tap arrow opened the whats new text. Strange, must have been a server side issue because you would get the spinning icon for a moment then nothing for the past several weeks.

iOS 10.1 Developer Beta 2
Build: 14B67
Darwin Kernel Version: 16.1.0: Thu Sep 29 21:56:12 PDT 2016; root:xnu-3789.22.3~1\/RELEASE_ARM64
Firmware Version: iBoot-3406.20.16

Please report bugs to bugreport.apple.com
(a developer account is not required to do this).

Changes:
  • Animations on iPhone 7 and 7+ are faster and smoother (for some)
  • Carrier version updated to 26.0
  • iMessage app drawer UI slightly tweaked (scroll bar replaces dots)
  • [Adds option under Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion to auto-play message effects when Reduce Motion > ON><(please don't add it here because this feature is not new to this build)].
  • Adds "replay" button to message effects
  • Modem Firmware updated to 2.36 (iPhone 6s Plus)
  • Auto-play Message Effects now functional.
  • App Store refreshes its cache (without tapping menu bar continuously) every time it starts from home screen if its not already opened in App Switcher. If its opened then updates its contents.

Bug Fixes:
  • Notes should no longer crash (from release notes)
  • Notification center bug (untappable notifications) fixed
  • Bug that caused white squares to appear in dark areas of photos when shooting in RAW format in apps such as ProCam 4 has been fixed
  • Wifi issues (previously posted) have been resolved properly.
  • Speaker Volume bug (significant low volume of all types) has been rectified.
  • Updated Apps in App Store Updates Section now direct to their dedicated pages after expanding their description/whats new.

Bugs: Build relevant | from previous build/s
  1. Hard Reset Display Glitch is yet there.
  2. Safari Text Selector Right Handle bug. Workaround: use left handle to select the desired text.

  • You can now click on apps on the updated page in the App Store and it will take you directly to the app on IPhones
This is also working again with iOS 10.0.2. Apparently the issue was on Apple's end.

Right, if it isn't completely up to the blazing fast standard of iOS 4 (or the Holy Grail of iOS builds, 8.4.1), even though its a beta, its a failure. Might as well sell our phones and use tin cans and string.

I've already sold my iPhone 5s for my cans and strings already! :p

I'm still surprised that somehow iOS 8.4.1 (or any version of iOS 8) is seen as a Holy Grail, compared to let's say iOS 7.1.2 or iOS 6.1.3.

WOW yep it definitely makes a difference. Weird though very noticeable closing groups or apps but doesn't seem too different actually double tapping like say to get to app switcher. But yes very different between slowest and default. I believe that timing is what they changed in iOS 10 gm as the app close got slower (more home button delay) after pressing home button after beta 7. This setting replicates that change.

So you are saying the iP7 series devices are having the low volume issue but older devices on iOS 10/10.0.2/10.1 are not? Weird since the 7 has 2 speakers. Should be louder. Wonder if they have changed something in the EQ settings (music) like default on for volume limit or sound check?
Sound cannot be decreased. Come
On. What's point if stereo speakers

Beta 2 is def way more stable than any other version of iOS 10 for sure. I haven't seen a re spring yet and the phone feels overall more fluid. I can't wait to see how 10.2 and 10.3 feel
