Just noticed that when using apple pay on this beta that I no longer get a receipt notification for any transactions, nor does it show it in the transaction history in wallet and apple pay settings.

I've noticed on my iPad Pro 9.7 that "closing" apps using the 4 or 5 finger gesture will cause the home screen to go blank. Dock appears but nothing else until I swipe up. This is with reduced motion on, it is fine if reduced motion is off. Anyone else seeing this?

The "animation fade" seems to have been sped up. Haven't seen it this fast since the animation bug of iOS 9 days.

Am finding this beta much smoother and polished than 11.01 on my 6s and iPad 10.5. Can’t wait to install it on my 8+ when it arrives on Friday.

Yes at least on iP6s.

few hours now with 11.1 and after i saw hope now its gone, nothing that great in this release doesnt seem much faster and why cant they just sort out the dam 3d touch lag wow how hard can it be do we really have to wait for 11.3.2 now and its good to see so many others seeing the same issues i been seeing the home delay is getting better but i just expect more

Or maybe a later beta of 11.1. Perhaps the actual release of it. This is beta 1 in case you missed it.

They should turn iOS into a service model like Windows 10 which no longer has annual releases.

Yeah so bi-annual like W10. That could go either way tho. Always bad or progressively better. Seems currently as soon as the previous iOS gets polished and functioning is about the time the new one is coming out so the issues start over somewhat. So bi-annual could cause it to never get solid. Except unlike you I happen to think 11.1 is working pretty well actually so no real complaints this time around.

A little less than normal, im getting 14 to 15 hrs stand with 7-9 hrs of use on screen.

Yes it seems like the screenshot file size are typically larger with iOS 11.

For me was 11.1 more fast and smooth than 11.0.1 about 3-5 hour after update. After one day of using 11.1 had same stutters and animation lag. After downgrade to 11.0.1 animation are better. iphone 7

I have directly upgraded to 11.0.1 and then 1.1 on iPhone7. The animation is really sluggy. Downgrading now. I think Monday will be the last day

By silent you mean the switch on the side, or Do Not Disturb (or both)?

Perhaps you have emergency bypass enabled for some of those contacts?

It is the switch on the side...dnd is not activated but all three are emergency contacts.
Weird...

There is still a bug with the copy/paste function on the new IOS 11
When you copy a story it gives you two links instead of 1 link. Another bug with Macforums is when you type a comment for a post and then hit the return button a few time to leave some empty lines before pasting article link below it leads to it posting it up front on top of posted comment. Sort of stupid if it is intentional

Welcome! I can confirmed on my 5S when tap on a notification it immediately open the app and no dimming and no glitches like the 7 vid on my 11.1 devices. Are you a dev or beta tester?

Was beta testing during iOS 11.0 betas, now I’m using „official” 11.0.1

Anyone see this bug? Reachability in front of the dock instead of behind.

Ya it’s fixed by moving screen left and right a bit and it should get the apps back to behind the dock as they should be.

Can confirm that 11.1b1 feels more responsive on my 6+. It was anger-inducingly bad on 11.0.1.

Battery life on 6s is pretty bad. Getting around 2-3 hours less usage compared to 10.3.3.
