ios 11 App Store seems to lag badly behind iOS 10 for pushing update notifications. I'll see an app update on my iOS 10 device but not on iOS 11. I'll restart the App Store multiple times and it'll still not show anything. then minutes to hours later the update will finally come through.
Pull down on the updates section of the App Store to refresh so that it checks for updates.

Oh ok no worries. Thought maybe you have other info somewhere. I saw the post that someone said that. But that means no more than if I were to say it was fixed in 11.0.3.

All good! Sorry if came across wrong. Trying to respond, sick and having to work was just a bad day all around

AHHH-MAZING how you replicated that to a T with 2 different firmwares!!!
[doublepost=1509066024][/doublepost]Off Topic:

Looks like 11.2 beta 1 MIGHT (probably) be coming out next week.

Is this good or bad? 11.1 b5 iPhone 7+ 256GB
First time checking from 100% to 1% (low power mode turned on at 20%)
Probably could have been better if I don't play Pokemon go.
Although after checking Apple spec sheet, its nowhere near the expected battery spec lifetime

Apple’s results are under the absolute best circumstances using very specific usage patterns. They don’t resemble real world usage for most people IMO.

Whether your results are good or not is really up to you, there are so many variables which affect battery life it’s really pointless to compare to others.

I used to obsess about battery life after my first iOS upgrade then I came to accept that with my usage pattern, cell coverage, house I live in etc. I’m rarely, if ever going to get more than 6 hours on a good day. I’m on a 6s now and this experience has been pretty consistent across 4 iPhones & 8 versions of iOS.

My recommendation to everyone is to determine what’s typical for YOUR phone and then if you need to, buy a battery case or a couple extra cables and enjoy the phone.

Did you guys know that the calculator bug exists on 10.3.3?? I am shocked tbh
Wow yep sure does!

I have never had the calculator act the way it does on IOS 11. I call BS on this being present on earlier versions.
Well I can confirm as that it does. Tried it after seeing this post from @atlchamp and exact same behavior as the iOS 11 versions. <sigh>

Have an iPhone 6 here on 10.3. Does not do this.
Seems like some others can reproduce it. Surely if some can't see the issue while others can doesn't mean they it's not there simply because some can't see it, right?

I don’t read every thread page from every beta but is this a bug where the weather widget keeps refreshing when swiping to the widgets page? It sort of makes everything stutter a little bit.

Still getting trash battery life on 7 Plus. I have never seen such a bad release. Its possibly worse than iOS 9 and Windows Vista levels of bad.

Overall 11.1. Still getting 7-8 hours on 7 Plus. Was getting 12 hours on iOS 10.
I had heard one of the earlier (1 or 2) betas has really bad battery but that it improved recently.

It’s frustrating, and I get sucked into being critical etc, but at the start of a new OS there are always growing pains. Hopefully they are overcome soon.

Two more data points here.

On both iPhone 7 Plus and IPP 10.5, I’m having a pretty good experience with this latest 11.1 beta (except for the calculator bug, WTF Apple??!?!).

Better battery life and less glitchy than previous 11.1 betas and 11.0.x.

When 11.1 is officially released, I’m going to finally recommend to my non-techy parents and spouse to upgrade from iOS 10.

My iPhone 8 does this as well. I finally just removed the weather widget. Mine also stopped updating entirely at one point prior to removal.

Yeah same here on iP6s. Weather widget is still flaky. Updates totally once in a while, sometimes only the hourly section updates but not the rest. Half the time the temps between it and the weather app don't match. Also I get the flash/refresh like you describe when initially swiping over to the widget page.
