iOS 11.3 Beta 6 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

iPhone X review of this beta:
- wifi is not a strong in the same locations it used to be on 11.2.6
- springboard crashes
- some apps are acting really weird (fitbod) is one of them.
- Some apps are force closing (fidelity just had one)
- Battery life is not as great as 11.2.6
Interesting. Don’t ever remember it happening. It’s been very frequent. I uninstalled AdGuard and thus far everything is working fine again. I’ll continue monitoring it.
11.2.6 was buggy on my iPhone X. i have problems with battery on my new X same standby same usage time.i dont use much the iphone,normaly my old 7plus last me 2,3 days with apple watch and airpods connected.then when i switched to the X i notice low battery perfomance and i check the battery status and i notice the same stand by usage and generated low battery log discharging my iphone x to 0. This proccess mediaserverd:com.apple.audio.VAD was draining my battery. i have to update to 11.3 beta 4 and the problem was resolve.Now i am on 11.3 beta 5 and no issues with battery.The iPhone X sleeps wells even in nights!more than 48h on stand by.today i think i can get 72H.i repeat i dont use much my iPhone X,only calls sms email and music.Because of this i was aware of the problem with battery. my battery health is 100% i only charge the iphone when is needed

I found a new bug (for me). My banner notifications and app badges for iMessage just quit working this morning. If I was using my phone while a message came it, it would just vibrate (I had my ringer switched to silent) with no other indication that a message was received. A restart fixed it.

Anyone dealing with a phantom keyboard? Happens to me when I try to open an app sometimes and I see a “K“ like I would when I register a key tap... it’s weird. Latest beta.
Interesting you mentioned that. I had a small problem with a voicemail notification this morning - they’re set to banner, but it persisted until I swiped it away manually.
Interesting. I had submitted a bug report a few betas ago regarding my visual voicemails being very delayed and not getting a notification until sometimes an hour later. I received a response saying that changes made in beta 6 should fix it.
Hmmm, well as of now it seems to be a one off. Hopefully it stays that way. I believe it came in while I was watching a fullscreen video in Safari.
I hope they fix that damn weather-widget bug in 11.3 final. Weather-Data are not updating properly.

Weird how it works for some and not others. Not a problem on my end on two phones - 6s Plus and 7.
Weather Widget works on my X successfully and suddenly after several days it‘s not 100% in sync respectively the timeline hangs behind the actual time. Perhaps some of us are more aware of these small bugs than others who don’t check everything that accurately.
My bluetooth connection from my iPhone X to my 2014 Acura MDX is causing my reverse camera to come very l late. Even when I disconnect my call the screen on my Acura shows as if the call is in progress and it is not responsive to the buttons on the dashboard.
Do you notice this bug on your iPad? Settings app always starts with landscape mode even the device is held in portrait position. A brand new bug in beta 6. No such issue since 11.0

This beta is gradually getting worse for me on my X. Not only am I suffering with lockup but the battery life is extremely poor.
I use Waze on my drive to/from work every day. I get in the car with the phone at 100% and after the 45min drive I am usually around 95-96%.
The last few days it's been getting worse and worse. This morning I am at 81% with only 1hr 15min use (45 mins on Waze and the other 30 mins was checking/replying to emails at home (on Wifi) before I left.
My routine each morning is the same so not sure why the phone has suddenly gotten worse. Not installed anything new for a couple of months now and none of my settings have changed.
Hoping for Beta 7 tonight after the Keynote and that it fixes the issues.
Roll on iOS 12 with the focus on performance and stability.
