It’s really not that bad.. Restoring as new pretty much solved every issue I had.

I did a dfu restore aswell (+set up as new phone) but the problems are there. Its not all about stability and performance, its about those small bugs you find literally EVERYWHERE in every corner. If its not crashing, its lagging. If its not lagging, its bugging and does not to what its supposed to do. Ios 11 is a android simulator, it seems that some holiday worker quality-checked this os.

Does anyone know when iOS 11.1 or 11.0.1 is coming out? Currently still on iOS 10.3.3, i'm holding back on the updates for now because i'm trying to avoid the iOS 11.0 battery issues.

Word is iOS 11.0.1 is supposed to drop tomorrow - not in beta, but as a public release. As for 11.1 it's up in the air, but widespread speculation says 11.1 beta 1 will release to testers either tomorrow or Wednesday (but likely Wednesday).

Oh! Thank you for the information! I also heard a rumor that iOS 11.1 will ship with the iPhone X

Not a problem! You're absolutely right, as 11.1 is rumored to launch with major feature updates to the OS (think Apple Pay Cash, "wireless" charging support, maybe Messages in iCloud). But it seems to me that the final version of 11.1 will be loaded onto the X prior to shipping.

When you say “wireless charging support” you mean the wireless fast charging support, correct? Because the iPhone 8 and 8 plus charge wirelessly now.

Ah that's right, I mistyped there. Looks like I got them mixed up! Now that you mention it, wireless charging support is hardware/software supported already (thinking back to unboxings and demos).

I’m guessing there’ll be a beta of iOS 11.0.1/11.1 (whatever is the next release). Apple doesn’t often just release updates without beta testing first.

Bug fix updates often enough are out there without developer/public betas.

Hope .0.1 brings its bunch of well deserved fixes. iOS 11 on 7 Plus sucks big time...

I don’t see much improvement coming with 11.0.1. The first recognizable improvements will likely come with iOS 11.1 and later...

iOS 11 looks like to have an interesting development phase as the main features are coming later (Apple Pay Cash or iMessage in the cloud).

Do any of you feel hesitant to install a beta on new hardware?

Me, got my 8+ and I’m not sure if I’ll be installing the beta profile for now. Depends on the community feedback first once 11.1 B1 drops.

Hope at least that the battery life will be increased a little, the percentage drops really fast for me...

Well, I expect they solve the problem for us with iPhone 6S and a non-official screen. In case you haven't heard, iOS11 installation on phones with 3rd party screens renders them useless: the screen does not respond to touch. Same issue seems to occur on iPhone 7 as well. People claims to have contacted Apple and they confirmed that they are aware and working on a solution. The screen itself works fine and actually, you may be able to get it to work on iOS11 if you restart the phone several times. When it works, it works, but once you lock the phone, it's gone again.

I suspect 11.0.1 will most likely address the Exchange/Outlook.com email issue and maybe a small performance optimization but wouldn't expect anything drastic. Who knows though, it could have a lot of fixes listed.
