Well now you’ll know how iPad users felt when Touch ID didn’t come to iPad till a year after the 5S. And how Face ID on iPad is a year behind the iPhone. Most people don’t unlock their iPhone in landscape. However in order to ship this feature the iPad HAS to support it , the core of iPad use is in landscape. The guy on Twitter says that landscape Face ID won't be available for iPhone because it requires a "realignment of the front-facing sensors". I hope this is not true. It would be such a failure to release a phone for $1000+, then release a highly requested feature for an iPad and make people wait for the next generation of iPhones.
