Just curious... what carrier versions is everyone using? Mine for Verizon is definitely not 33.0

YouTube Home Bar Bug still there.

I think it took 3-4 Betas before iOS 12 fixed it and so disappointing to see it back for 12.1

Also, hope that we can eventually “hide” the home bar as it doesn’t need to be constantly present.

They finally reverted the speaker phone behavior to the way it was on iOS 11!
Since iOS 12, to place a phone call on speaker when you have an Apple Watch connected you would have to press the speaker button and then choose speaker from the list of available outputs. Now you just hit the speaker button and it goes directly to speaker!

Thank god!

Interesting that my Verizon iPhone X on iOS 12.0 is using carrier version 33.1 while 12.1 b2 is on 33.0.

Must have updated the modem f/w. VZW 33.5.6.

Yes!! This is the only thing I can think of as to why I’ve had a Wi-Fi only iPhone for 2 days now.

Edit: I am going mad with this. Restore from 12.1 b1 to 12.0 is what started this (done by an Apple rep). Two replacement iPhones, several restores done, etc etc etc. Any other carrier works. I’m not waiting another week or two for a carrier update. I will switch providers. Hours of phone calls with Verizon has done me no good.

So what does all this mean? Is this good or bad

Well this carrier update is what did it. The carrier settings updated mid cycle. Beta 1 was fine for quite awhile under the original firmware and I remember it not being a longer number. It all narrows down to this because everything else has been ruled out.

That’s awesome! But is there still a way to hand-off a call to the watch, or does this essentially mean that feature is gone?

what happened and what did you do leading up to the issue?

Apple rep reverted back my original iPhone X to iOS 12. Ever since... nothing. iOS 12 works for awhile but not all day. Goes back to the current firmware I’m on. No matter what I do, I can’t get my old beta 1 firmware back. So I’m ****** no matter what I do unless I go to another carrier in the meantime.

What’s wrong with 33.1?

Nothing. That’s what I was on before. I need to figure out how to get back to that. My iPad Pro 10.5 Wi-Fi + Cellular on AT&T is on the right firmware as well as my T-Mobile iPhone SE. Verizon and Apple keep pushing me back and forth, blaming each other.
