Couple of regressions for me in this beta that I’ve reported.

- Tap targets on the phone sometimes fail. Only noticed in Safari or apps using webviews so far. Restarting the app and/or locking and unlocking usually gets you on your way
- Tap targets on the iPad very often fail and it seems to be aggravated by the hardware keyboard (I can only vouch for magic keyboard). Quite often, again especially in Safari or other webviews, I can’t tap but pulling they keyboard up off the connector allows me to tap them.

A bit irritating but that’s betas for you (I just had to lift my keyboard to tap Post Reply!)

My tap targets have improved significantly after couple power cycles/hard resets on my iPP. You might want to give it a shot.

I'm seeing that same behavior now too. Also, messages are out of order - normally newest are on top, but I have to back out/in to the app multiple times and/or read a few random messages for the order to correct itself (doesn't always work though).
Same here but that hasn't happened too often. I found the messages that kept causing the red dot to appear and re-read them, so far so good and the dot stays gone.

the lack of lock screen music controls though...
I can control music on my lock screen just fine. What's the issue?

my X gets reallllllly hot on this beta and when ever its hot the screen brightness goes way down and comes back once its cool, didnt have this on past 3 betas
Same here. Noticed the other day it felt hot even with the thick case I have on it. Definitely reporting it

I have noticed the battery draining faster but while I am listening to music but it could be during standby too. Definitely worse with this beta version.
Battery for me drains fast since beta 1 when I’m listening to music but only when I’m listening using the iPhone speakers. If I’m listening through headphones or Bluetooth it’s fine

+1. Public Beta 3 (16A5327f), Watch series 3, watchOS 4.3.2.

What watchOS?

I've restarted phone and watch, no improvement in messages already showing on watch, or new messages received...still no contacts on watch, and siri can't handle things like "text my wife" since it doesn't know the contact info needed to identify that relationship.

Well, time healed this one. By mid-afternoon today (about 18 hours after installing PB3), the watch was showing contacts again and understood "text my wife"

I see on wiki post that the music controls are not on the lock screen. What I am seeing is correct behavior now. Controls are on the lock screen when music is playing but are gone when not playing. Previous betas the music controls would stay on lock screen until app was force closed. (Even when not playing music) Both Apple music app and Amazon music app seem to be working fine now for me.

Also performance wise this one does actually seem faster. I have not really noticed it before over 11.4.1.

Does it sync with iTunes 12.8? Beta 3 required some software update that the computer was unable to download.
Yes, my 6S+ now connects properly. I also had that very annoying 'software download' message, only to never be able to download anything cus it "isn't on the server"! lol. I have just connected it now to triple check and it's ok. :)

My 6S+ shows lock screen music controls when music is playing.

Had some issues at first with it crashing at startup. I uninstalled the app and rebooted it. Works fine now.

One of the more common fixes for that issue is to delete the Apple Watch app for Pokemon Go. Every now and then, deleting the app, reinstalling it, and typing in your credentials for the 1000th time.

Noticing the same thing. iPhone X.

Interesting. Battery life today has been the best for me since PB 1. PB 3 seems to have solved some of the issues I've reported to Apple.

On iPad, the 2x zoom button in iPhone only apps has a new look:

Quite annoying. First time I separated the iPad keyboard and the tap worked I thought, “Nah, coincidence” but after the second and the third I was confident enough to add it to the feedback. Hopefully fixed in the next beta, but you never know.

(I couldn’t tap Post Reply without separating it again )
This seems to be closely related to the bug I experienced where tap targets just above the software keyboard (when it was up) on iPhone Safari didn’t work. With that, I had to scroll tap targets a bit higher to be able to tap them.

While that specific manifestation seems fixed for me, I’m getting more general issues with tap targets l with the keyboard not even up, but one thing that’s consistent with before is that scrolling the tap targets higher allows them to work. So another potential workaround for you...?

I’ll check that out. If I can confirm that I’ll reply here and update Feedback.

How does one attach a photo to an iMessage chat? When I tap on the camera icon, my only option is to take a new photo/video... I had to go to Photos and do it via the share menu. That's quite inconvenient. What's the trick?
