I’m experiencing the earlier reported battery drain when listening to music through the iPhone speakers. Haven’t tried headphones yet to see how that does. I’m not streaming, all my music has been downloaded. Wish it didn’t use so much battery to listen to music. But I guess they figure a phone’s main use should be for calls and texts so let’s make other stuff drain the battery. Lol

Running hot. Screen freezing / not responding to touch / screen shut offs

Same here. Sometimes unresponsive when tapping done after a screenshot. Other freeze ups, resprings, etc. Such is a beta release... o_O

I have the same issue with the battery drain listening through iPhone speakers. It’s been this way since beta 1. I’ve seen bug reports every single beta and still persists

This problem started immediately after installing PB2
I have an older iPhone 5 (NOT on iOS 12) and 2 MacBook's that work fine on my wifi, be that 2 ghz or the 5 ghz.
My 6S+ has been turned off/on; soft reset with power and home buttons
Reset network connection settings, more than twice.
Have since installed PB3 and it's still no good.
Even though there is nothing wrong with it, I rebooted my Virgin SuperHub 2.
I have tried different DNS settings.

Either way, I can go airplane mode off/on, then use wifi normally a bit, until I lock the phone, then it goes t1ts up again.

Thanks for the comments and trying to help :D, appreciated.

See above comments and thanks for trying to help :D

Ok, UPDATE: I've found an annoying work-around for my issue.
Literally tap the wifi off then tap it back on via control centre and my wifi wakes up and behaves well until I lock the phone, Then the cycle repeats. I have no wifi until I do the off/on toggle. Mental. LOL

Same issues.. My X gets extremely hot and I get constant resprings ... I had to go back to 11.4 for now until the next beta.. B3 did really well for me but I understand when a few things gets fixs other things break in the process.. Here's to looking forward to B5..

Understood. But after beta 3 being release quality for me I had forgotten what these feel like.

Beta 4 is an absolute dumpster fire for me on iPhone X.

Running hot. Screen freezing / not responding to touch / screen shut offs

Beta 3 was the fastest and most stable beta I had ever used. Had no issue with it on daily driver.

This is a throwback to the betas from years past. Not sure I will be able to hold off until a new beta is released before downgrading.

FWIW my iPad Pro 10.5 still seems to run fine on new beta.
Maybe they just jacked something up with the iPhone X code.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean! I long for that smoothness of beta 3 again.

Anyone with the Shortcuts app: are you able to create a widget with all of your shortcuts (like Workflow) or does it only work within the app/settings?

I am and noted this earlier as well. Not 100% what you mean, but I often can’t expand notifications using 3D Touch.

Just wondering if anyone else is aware of this issue: I’m in the UK and on the EE network and when my iPhone X is on do not disturb and someone rings it, the caller is greeted with a message from EE saying the number is temporarily unavailable and try again later. I.E. they do not get diverted through to voicemail. I have spoken to EE about this and they have reset everything and are not aware of this issue. I first noticed it with Beta 3 and raised it with Apple... have heard nothing back from them of course.

Could anyone confirm if this happens with them or if you’re aware of it please? TIA

I too faced this.
The non-response occurred for the notifications themselves as well as with the "Open" button which displays to the left of the notification.

For Live Listen, I have started getting the error “unavailable for current route”. Odd error. Anyone else with AirPods (or hearing aids) seeing this?

Battery is definitely having issues when listening to music (bluetooth). I have gone on multiple bike rides over the past couple of months and even on my longest ride of 70 miles, listening to music through my helmet (Coros helmet), using MapMyRide and with the apple watch connected, the battery level when I finished was around 60% (3.5 hours of usage). Today on Beta 4 - almost 3 hours and I had to turn off the apple music about 30 minutes early because I noticed I was down to 22%. Once I turned it off and closed the app, 30+ minutes later, I was at home at the iPhone was at 22%. I still had MapMyRide tracking me but no music. I thought to myself - this phone feels like an android with this battery usage when listening to music (my experience a few years back with my former work phone). Hopefully this gets resolved because I have loved the fact I could listen to music for hours and not feel like I need to keep charging the phone.

iPhone 8.....when taking screen shot and then trying to send through messages, it sometimes takes a long time (up to 30seconds) for it to load into iMessage. Anyone else? PB3.
