I removed iTunes using terminal commands and downloaded a fresh copy from Apple. When I plugged my X in on iOS12 it said it needed a separate file to connect to my phone. After it finished everything worked perfectly. Not sure what the file was because it’s still iTunes 12.8.0 and it never prompted me to install any files before the re-installation.

The app makers have to update their code to work with iOS 12 Carplay. You can then add/delete and rearrange the location of apps in Carplay in iPhone Settings. Apple Maps is still playing catch up.
Can someone tell me if the feature that allows security apps to bypass Do Not Disturb made it in ios12? I really want my Arlo alerts to still go off when do not disturb is on
I bit the bullet, and now my Thanksgiving badges and Mother's Day badges are missing. What the hell Apple. They were there two weeks ago when I updated. I clearly see them on your screenshot.
I know none of you will follow my advice but here it is anyway... There is no need to delete the beta profile and update to the public release version as it the same thing and once a new beta comes out you are already for the next beta. Last time many of you ran out to get the public release version and then it will do a lot of indexing and kill your battery life again just stay as you are and you will enjoy the same release whilst being ready for the next beta. Ok advice over now go and delete your beta profile and update and then bitch about the terrible battery life a few hours into the indexing !
[doublepost=1537244371][/doublepost]not sure if its been covered yet but ...
use low power mode as soon as you do the update.
don't wait for the iPhone to prompt you at 20%. Enable low power mode at 100% and it will get you through the whole day.
I'm not sure but I might have covered this before in a previous post.lol
I updated my X to the GM a few days ago and I too have been noticing slightly worse battery life. I'm getting about an hour and a half less. Sometimes even two hours. Everything else is good though. The phone is smooth. I just wish the battery life was better.
This is true with every iOS release. iOS 10 destroyed my 6s battery life. iOS 11 did that to my 7 Plus. This is always the case, except maybe iOS 9. That's the only iOS version that didn't make my iPhone 6 battery life worse.

My iPad mini 4 is now mini-er... iOS 12 has added a permanent border to my iPad and all apps. Instagram now mini-er with a distinguishable black border around the app and the pictures now bleed over the edges. Not happy to say the least

I don’t like it at all. I just look at the percentage in the status bar and never go into the battery page at all it’s too confusing and even if you understand it your battery is still drained anyway.
In Settings App the search bar appears over top selection item making it unavailable to use. IE the WiFi On/Off Slider. This bug is thruout Settings App. Sorry if this has been mentioned.

It doesn't show battery usage since the last full charge. It shows the last 24 hours. The screen on section shows the the screen on time since 12:00 AM everyday. It gets reset again at midnight.
What you can do is, when your phone is fully charged, turn off the screen on feature and turn it back on. That's what I do. Or, under battery usage, you could count the screen on time by clicking on each column.
