There is one improvement I have noticed with Safari in iOS 12 on my iPhone 6s. In past iOS’s when you open multiple tabs in safari and you tap on the bottom right corner icon to switch to see all your open tabs on prior iOS’s it would show you a picture of a tab that you previously visited but wasn’t the latest most recent opened tab. For instance you hit the switch icon on the bottom right corner you see all your open tabs and you click on one it would show you a shadow pic in the tabs screen but when you click the actually tab it would be the last page you looked at (the shadow pic would be a different page than what actually showed once the tab opens)
It’s hard to explain but it no longer acts like this, so what you see in the open tabs switcher is actually what you have opened. I’ve been waiting for Apple to fix this in Safari iOS for awhile.
No, it was doing it on iOS 11 on my 6s.THis was normal in iOS 11 too, so not something new in 12
Anyone else getting a text notification with no name again, just the phone number showing? I can't remember what fixed this last time I had it.
My iPad mini 4 is now mini-er... iOS 12 has added a permanent border to my iPad and all apps. Instagram now mini-er with a distinguishable black border around the app and the pictures now bleed over the edges. Not happy to say the least
Working as designed on my 8+.3D touch not working properly. 8+
This has been the case for as long as I’ve been using iOS.I noticed something that I think it's a feature, not a bug. The auto-lock time gets halved when in home screen. I verified it with 2 and 5 minutes. If it is in home screen it locks up in 1 or 2.5 minutes...
I’ve never seen this and it is a bug that varies by device. The phones all auto lock, my 8 plus and 7, at 2 ½ minutes when set to 5. The iPads have new auto lock settings. They go up to 15 minutes. My iPad Air set to 10 and 5 minutes auto lock properly at 10 and 5. My iPad Pro 12.9 when set at 10 locks at 5, when set to 5 it locks at 2 ½ like the phones. It’s very noticeable when you’re used to the longer time frames. This has been the case for as long as I’ve been using iOS.
I’ve noticed that mine always defaults to “none” after a major update.Hi, i see no one talking about this, did the default mail received sound changed in ios12? On all my devices , the default sound for new mail is ‘none’ now.
I missed some important emails because of this change.
Are you seeing the same behavior? Or is it a bug.
Thanks.
