Has anyone experienced Screen Time data being lost?
I’ve had days of data vanish from the Last 7 Days section.
This morning it only shows data for yesterday and today. The data that had been there for Sat and Sun is gone.

Good day! Just updated to iOS 12 on my iPhone X but experiencing something weird. When I open the Health App it would not show the updated step count, I have to force close the app and re-open it for the steps to be updated.

Are you experiencing the same?

3D touch 8+ - slow to respond, sometimes ignores t touch completely, sometimes acts as long press. Lowered required Force to touch. Maybe a little better?

I know none of you will follow my advice but here it is anyway... There is no need to delete the beta profile and update to the public release version as it the same thing and once a new beta comes out you are already for the next beta. Last time many of you ran out to get the public release version and then it will do a lot of indexing and kill your battery life again just stay as you are and you will enjoy the same release whilst being ready for the next beta. Ok advice over now go and delete your beta profile and update and then bitch about the terrible battery life a few hours into the indexing !
[doublepost=1537244371][/doublepost]not sure if its been covered yet but ...
use low power mode as soon as you do the update.
don't wait for the iPhone to prompt you at 20%. Enable low power mode at 100% and it will get you through the whole day.
I'm not sure but I might have covered this before in a previous post.lol

I know better not to delete it lol so technically I did follow your advice. :p

I updated my X to the GM a few days ago and I too have been noticing slightly worse battery life.

I’ve been on this build since this was considered beta 12. Mine is great like it has always been. Give it some time to settle. If no improvements, reinstall iOS 12.0 on your device and restore all your data.

The new battery stats page is terrible i cannot figure out the actual usage since last charge, may b i m not able to figure out how to do it.
So how can we check the usage since last charge like we used to see in ios 11 and how can we check the screen on time since last 100% charge.

They removed that feature. Why? No idea. A poor choice on their part.

I think I know what happened. Those that updated before the server push for the national park one didn’t lose badges. Those that updated after the national park push did lose the badges but retained the national park one.

How it worked for me is I read on Reddit that Apple had fixed it, in my activity app ALL limited badges had vanished, not even the heading.

I rebooted my phone and they all came back including the national park one.

Yeah I was on the beta when the National Park challenge for this year was supposed to show up. Never saw an alert or the grayed out version in the achievements section of Activity.

I’m on Cricket (ATT) and received a carrier update yesterday. After the update, the current version number (33.0) never changed. Does the carrier version update sometimes, without a version change? Thanks.

All I know is I got a carrier update with Verizon yesterday and since then, my battery is draining faster. I had been using the iOS 12 GM since it came out around 10 days ago and had no issues until the carrier update yesterday. It has been a full 24 hours now so and still having increased drain. Thanks Verizon.

Had some issues with my update to iOS 12. So far:
- Pictures disappeared, but restored after a while - however not in chronological order in my Camera Roll.
- iTunes (on my MBP 2017 with MacOS High Sierra) won't see my iPhone X, but still sees my wife's iPhone 8 on iOS 11.4.
- Couldn't update to watchOS 5 with the Watch App. Kept saying "Unable to Verify Update" - you are not connected to the Internet [Solved that by unpairing watch > Set up as new > updated to watchOS 5 > unpaired > then restored].

Does anyone else find the new filters button completely odd? Why would you not be able to take photos right from the filter screen?

Reachability on iPhone 7 activates by accident very often now.

I'm going from iOS 10 to 12 and never had an issue with 10.

I have iOS12 for half a day today and it's already happened 20 times now.

iOS 12 now permanently shows the date in the top-left corner of an iPad.

10:00 Mon Sep 17

Too bad it forgot how to format a date in German. Really, three damn dots?

19:00 Mo. 17. Sep.

I had to disable it, because it looked so hideous. Then I checked how the format is on a Mac.
... and OMG, has it always been this way? Screenshots suggest it did.

There is one improvement I have noticed with Safari in iOS 12 on my iPhone 6s. In past iOS’s when you open multiple tabs in safari and you tap on the bottom right corner icon to switch to see all your open tabs on prior iOS’s it would show you a picture of a tab that you previously visited but wasn’t the latest most recent opened tab. For instance you hit the switch icon on the bottom right corner you see all your open tabs and you click on one it would show you a shadow pic in the tabs screen but when you click the actually tab it would be the last page you looked at (the shadow pic would be a different page than what actually showed once the tab opens)

It’s hard to explain but it no longer acts like this, so what you see in the open tabs switcher is actually what you have opened. I’ve been waiting for Apple to fix this in Safari iOS for awhile.
