Anyone seen any difference in CarPlay? I am traveling and don’t have a car to try it out on

Two continuing issues:
  • Unable to configure any third party download location like OneDrive or Google Drive as default download location in Safari (Settings > Safari > Downloads > Other > [OneDrive] or [GoogleDrive]).
  • Toggling Settings > Notifications > Mail > "Mail Account" > [Show Previews] between "Always" and "When Unlocked", causes all existing mail notifications to disappear from the Lock Screen as well as Notification Centre of the iPhone

Nice improvements to the interface!

So it was just divided evenly before? I can’t even remember stuff like that. Going through old screen shots now.

I can’t find one where I WASN’T touting already. I’m assuming that still splits in half due to the info shown on the top screen.

More like 2/3 map, 1/3 “toggles”. I like their choices for the toggles, too. Previously, frequently only 2 toggle panels appear. Looks like they’ve found a way to use that unused real estate.

I also really like having the phone interface there so you (presumably) don’t have to leave the map while you’re using the phone. Does it go back to the multi-panel view automatically as soon as accepting or placing a call? If so, this possibly presages a much desired change to the overall iOS phone app - a less than 100% screen UI.

Pretty sure I'm not imagining this anymore.

In Mail, has anyone noticed the 'hit area' for the thread expand/collapse button has reduced? Since installing 13.4, I've been accidentally going into the actual message as opposed to expanding/collapsing the thread.

Thoughts?

He was referring to the right side of the dashboard view only.

The horizontal split is different now when not routing to show more music info (is what he’s saying)

The left to right split was in is still 50/50...and I understand why that would drive folks with widescreen displays on newer cars crazy as the right hand side view is actually bigger than it needs to be while the Map only takes up half the screen.

For folks running the beta, thus far how does it compare to 13.3.1? Thanks.

I would say so far it is as good if not better than 13.3.1. I have not run into any issues thus far with general usage on my iPhone XSM and iPad mini 4.
Thanks for your feedback! 👍🏼

It’s early days, but I would say that the Mail app does seem to be loading Exchange mail faster into the Inbox and does seem to be much faster in running searches. We’ll see if that is a temporary or permanent thing (or even a placebo).

Thanks, @gwhizkids. I’ll backup and give it a whirl. Can always go back.

Mail loaded and worked great this morning except for the gray screen after archiving rather than going back to the inbox. Report filed.

The one that really got me involved Pandora. Each track paused itself with three seconds remaining and made me press play to keep listening. Strange.

Question for those running 13.4 with att and use WiFi calling - are you able to toggle on the “add WiFi calling for other devices” under WiFi calling settings? Seems to have been switched off after update and I can’t enable it

EDIT: randomly fixed

Yea I always thought a week but then read somewhere it comes out 24 hours after.
I think long ago it was a week, then it was the next day, but for quite a while now the public betas have been available just a couple hours after the dev. I'm actually kind of surprised this one wasn't same-day.
