Is the weird issue of the badge being gone on the App Store if you have automatic updates on, but there are still updates available fixed? On B5, the badge wasn't there and the red dot wasn't on the number of apps to update in the App Store either.

Dynamic Wallpaper seems working again but it shows up blank in Settings. It will preview when you click any of the blank wallpapers though.

Spoke too soon. Dynamic Wallpaper is still not working correctly. Once the bubbles start disappearing, they never re-appear again. Also, 'All Photos' doesn't show up in the Wallpaper selection anymore.

interesting. Think it says a lot about Halide as a developer. So, they won’t do anything until after iOS 13 is released - then they’ll play catch up while letting the users hang.

actually i could have been thinking of Darkroom not Halide. either way, i understand from their perspective, it’s a beta, things change and break. why put in effort and deal with headache when something isn’t available publicly yet. plus Apple doesn’t even let full compatibility updates for new major OS releases until a few weeks before it launches. plus you think they really aren’t working on an iOS 13 update? of course they are

When using quick reply to reply to a message, you can’t do the double tap “Tapback” to bring up the “like” “dislike” etc.

Not sure if that just this beta or not, but this is possible in iOS 12.

On iPadOS 13b6.

Anyone having issues in multitasking panes with the messages app. Where it goes blank after a few moments off the screen.

I’m required to close the complete messages app and reopen. When in pane view the messages will go blank and unresponsive when re opened.

I agree. I don't get all the heartburn some are having because of moving the Update link.
it doesn’t bother me. there is shortcut to them by holding on the App Store icon. average people aren’t checking it often to see what’s updated if ever at all since apps update in the background

Strange. They show normally and work normally on iPP, but I get same results as you on iPhone.

'All Photos' don't show but all my folders in 'All Photos' show on both devices.

why was announce with siri for AirPods taken away and FaceTime correction hope they come back for final
Probably not, at this point they will be working on bug fixes and stability, they may come back in a 13.x release though.

So, there is a warning that you must have the newest Beta for watchOS 6 with this new iOS beta 6. How does that work for those of us without dev accounts? You can only download beta of watchOS with a dev account. Do us PB folks just NOT update to this newest beta iOS (assuming release tomorrow)?

Reading is fundamental. Here's the warning from the Release Notes. What is says is that IF your watch is running watchOS 6 beta, you have to update the watchOS to 6b2 or later BEFORE updating your phone. Seems simple enough to me. Update the watch, then update your phone. If you don't to it that way, you will be unable to connect your watch and your phone. Nothing says that you have to update either device... it just specifies the order in which you must do the updates in order to maintain the connectivity.

Thank you. I understand “reading is fundamental “. But I just got the bit I posted from the main page comments. What the poster left out is the important piece you pasted here. Thank you!

For anyone confused (because it IS confusing), you’re fine if your watchOS is 5.3. If you are running beta watchOS, you need to update that.

This is the reverse of how Apple specified this in the earlier betas. They need to do a much better job of highlighting this. Even the quoted warning is not good enough. Most do not (and should not need to) read these prior to installing the beta.

Edit: never mind. I thought they were saying we had to update to WatchOS 6 beta 6, not beta 2.

Carry on...

Quick Reply has been shoddy in all of them. Reading that you can finally read the most recent message when pulling down and I know you can double tap in 12, so probably still a bug.

I missed this and upgraded my phone. I haven't upgraded the watch yet, but it's connecting to the phone with no issues (yet).

Seems like toggling between WiFi and data takes sometime to change the icon. Anyone else facing this?

Yup, exactly the same as me on iPXS - all folders and favorites but not 'All Photos'.

There's a new 'System Configuration' setting in Settings-->Privacy-->Location Services-->System Services.
No idea what this does but I turned it off.

Does anyone know why volume indicator switches between “Ringer” and the side bar widget? After switching ringer to on/off and changing the volume it shows in the Ringer, whereas other times (mostly) it’s the side widget. Probably just a bug, but if new behavior, does anyone know what differentiates the 2?
