Yep very likely, expect a new beta on a Tuesday every 2 weeks.

Hopefully ... DB2 is where it always gets fun because it's probably a build later than the one shown at WWDC. The one we get at WWDC is probably earlier than the one they show.

It would be great if they updated the icons in beta 2 to match macOS 11 - just for consistency.
Ew, no. It would be great if they updated the macOS icons with iOS icons. Because you know, all iOS apps have a common design which would just look atrocious with shadows and bevels. And iOS apps runs on macOS apps, so it would make more sense to look like iOS apps for Mac.

and macOS icons from Big Sur wouldn’t even work with iOS since some apps like Xcode, GarageBand, Photo Booth, etc have objects outside of the rectangle icon which no longer looks consistent with iOS. And I extremely doubt Apple would do that design on iOS.

The majority would fit the iOS “mould” of icon. The ones you named could be adjusted. I like the neumorphism approach. Still tome to change icons during the beta run.

I am constantly amazed at how many versions of the "truth" float around (including from me). Key reason why eyewitness testimony is not considered particularly reliable.

I will say this: last year I proposed a thread where we kept track of when betas were first released for testing. The amount of abuse I got for that was unnerving. And yet, we really don't have a good database of the beginning date of each beta, just the release date
I was thinking the same. Just have a sticky for the current and maybe two back with the dates of each beta release. And our Social Studies teacher over three decades ago taught us first person is the only thing close to the truth

I keep asking Siri, "what time is it in Cupertino" 😂
They should make a Cupertino widget that tells you everything there is to know about it :D

So, about an hour and 20 minutes then, possibly! (Allowing for servers to start spreading it around, as it were) 🤓

Well, given the bug in the weather widget, even if you don't know what time it is there, you should know the weather there. :D

There’s always this, a bit messy, but it seems to have it all, at a quick glance.

I think it would be great as a reference resource.

Assuming we can pinpoint the WWDC Keynote each year (for a starting point), this is also somewhat useful.
