I’m hoping for 14.2 beta as I keep getting there is an iOS 14.2 beta update. When I already have the latest 14.2 beta.
every single night right at midnight or a few minutes after- at least for the last week or so

We are not getting a GM next week for iOS 14.2 nit sure where and how you getting this info. iOS 14.2 still needs more beta

Apple want's 14.2 out soon, as they have to get 14.3 into beta, so that it can come out in December with the features that they promised to be provided before the end of the year, that are not in 14.2, like Camera support for App Clips, Apple Fitness+, App Store Privacy information and there's others I probably forgot.....

Therefore, between that fact and that we are due more new iOS devices the week after next, along with the historical evidence that they tie in a new iOS release with devices (especially the precedent this year of 14.0 with Watch Series 6, then 14.1 with the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro), it just is clearly logical that all of the above combined indicates that 14.2 will come out to the public the week after next. That means we will get GM next week.

That all is more logical than your personal opinion that 14.2 needs more beta (I actually am finding 14.2 very decent for the devices I am testing, along with my colleagues devices they are testing).

It won’t all iPhone 12 pro were loaded with 14.1 and tested with 14.1. Only reason they later is due to backed manufacturing of parts

You do realise that when a new version of iOS comes out, the phones that are manufactured come with that installed? Seeing as Apple need 14.2 out soon, and the fact it started beta early, along with the fact we have more new devices coming the week after next, it just all logically points to

14.2 till have another month to go with testing we are only on mb4 we need atleast B7

Nah, What you want for 14.2 and what Apple has decided are not the same.

I would not be surprised if we already got the „final“ version of iOS 14.2 with the latest beta.

Like the build we will be getting next week will be 18B83 (beta 4 without „beta-stuff“ like logging etc.).

Apple One comprises of different services. For it to work, the other components needs to be available. It's All or Nothing. In this case it's Apple Fitness +

So..... you know how you were adamant about this must be in 14.3 as you couldn’t see it being referenced in 14.2, and that Apple Fitness+ was required for Apple One to launch?

Well, Apple One is available from tomorrow, and public release is 14.1 and Apple Fitness+ will follow later this year ?

Wonder if they will release beta 5 tomorrow or GM to fix the notification bug? ?

Seeing as the bug has been there since the first night of the beta being released, I doubt it

This has happened a couple times before, and only once, from what I recall, did they do an emergency release, and it was just a hot fix, not treated as a new beta by Apple.

This actually happened during iOS 12 beta 11 and they released a beta 12 to fix it so it’s possible they could release a beta 5 tomorrow

It happened in iOS 13 too.

With iOS 12, they were 3 weeks away from public release. With 14.2, GM is likely to be next week, so I reckon we will get a 14.2.1 to fix this.

It’s possible the bug is server side, when Update pools the update server. As this bug started with a fair amount of ta affected, then others that weren’t then started getting out tonight, which is odd.
